We had a awesome experience with Dean! Our car had some details to be fixed and Dean manged to fix at the same day. We picked up the car on Saturday and unfortunately we had an failure and Dean again managed to fix it Saturday 1pm which was a challenge to find the part needed at this time of the day, but he drove through 4 or 5 store to find it and got it.we are happy with our purchase and the service. You will find many types of car, but hury because they sell very quickly. I highly recommend!

Anyone who is planning on travelling nz- this is the place to go, wouldn't go anywhere else! Dean and Peter made buying and selling our Subaru so easy. We travelled in nz for 6 months and made a deal when we purchased it to buy is back for $1500 less at the end of our trip. They stuck to their word - such nice guys and really efficient process! Also great selection of cars.

An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. We had a specific car in mind that we wanted to view and Dean got that sorted for us. While that was being done, he suggested another one we could test drive in the mean time. He was honest about each of the cars, but light hearted enough that he laughed with us over the little things. As it turned out, he found us a better car than the one we’d planned on and made the paperwork real easy. Thanks Dean for amazing customer service and after sales support.

We bought a Nissan Leaf from here a month ago and really love it. We have visited about 5-6 Japan imported second hand car dealer before we decided to buy from here. In comparison, the cars at bestdeal 0800 are generally in better condition at very reasonable price, they offer the 3 years mechanical insurance, and another great thing is bestdeal is fully owned and operated by Kiwi.
Dean and Julian are in very Kiwi style (you feel like you are buying from your next door neighbour), great communication, very easy to deal with and have great sense of humour.

Person sold the car, prior to me even being able to get there for a arranged test drive, wasted my gas and time. No notifying me about it being sold either

LOOK AT 1 STAR AND 2 STAR REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING -Unfortunately i had the most terrible experience with 0800 best deal cars. I bought the car on a sunday and i can't fault Dean, he was helpful and professional. On the wednesday i returned to speak to the manager. I stated i had experienced the following issues - high pitched squealing when starting the car (think this is fan belt), juddering when stationary at traffic lights and then loss of power when driving on the motorway (which from my experience is transmission). I went to the garage and stated i was not happy with my purchase, it is unsafe and would like a refund. Both the manager and another salesman drove it round the block and both said 'it seems fine to me'. They did offer to take it into the garage however i stated seen as i had only bought the car several days before and sadly lost faith in the car and their business i would like my money refunded. I am a single woman living in auckland and 0800 best deals was recommended to me, i need a reliable car to get around the city for work. The manager stated he would not give me a refund and said 'how do i know anything is wrong with it', which is very unprofessional and quite frankly insulting. He said they don't refund because apparently people 'do this all the time when they realise they can't afford it'. I am an experienced physiotherapist working for the district health board, i have a good salary, this is nothing to do with me not being able to afford it, it is simply that i want my money back as i have been sold a sub standard car. The manager used very rude and aggressive swear words towards me. Regardless of what he thinks and the situation this kind of behaviour is despicable and completely unprofessional, all mean while his co -workers were sitting there looking sheepish. I was left utterly shocked and shaken from the experience. I have lodged a MVTD and would absolutely not recommend this company. I understand that things go wrong with cars but his total lack of professional and his rude attitude is enough for someone to never buy a car from them. I cannot stress enough DO NOT buy from here, even if they appear lovely (that's how they were with me), they have absolute no professionalism and do not care about selling good quality cars.writing here in response to the seller's response to my original review, 10/2/23 - I asked for my money back because i identified serious faults with the car, the way in which i was dealt with by the manager was appalling hence why i stated i would be leaving a bad review. I was told by the manager and the salesman there was nothing wrong with the car when they had only driven it road the block for a short time. I did not at any point yell at any other customers or stand at the gate as he says. The response states i did not manage the situation in an appropriate manner, the manager is failing to mention that he used strong and aggressive swear words at me. In my email correspendence with the manager i was told if i did not collect the vehicle by a specific time they would start charging me a storage fee. When i collected the vehicle it was parked off their premises on the road. When i went to collect the vehicle i was required to call the manager's number, i was told if i came onto the premises i would be trespassed, i am unsure on what basis i would be trespassed however i followed instructions. When i went to collect my vehicle i was accompanied by a friend as i had felt threatened by the manager Paul. Just to make it clear, i am a 60kg 5 ft 6 woman and when i was last on the premises i was subject to Paul, a 6ft man shouting directly at me. The only person who was threatened in this situation was myself. When i collected the keys the man who gave them to me (not the manager) even apologised for the manager's behaviour, stating he can be unreasonable (this was witnessed by my accompanying friend).
If you read through the reviews it would appear this has happened before with this business. I am now taking my car for an independent inspection elsewhere.

Purchased a vehicle through trademe from here, I received the vehicle with damages to subframe, they paid for the repairs. 6 months later go through a breath screen to be told by the officer that “oh these vehicle has been pinched before” 3-4 weeks later I see them post up on Facebook that someone had broken in taken some keys and vehicles again.piecing everything together. I have find the reasoning why the vehicle I purchased was damaged, someone had broken in to their car yard. Took my key and vehicle then somehow had it returned and was sold to me without any information about it being stolen or damaged. Acted like they were innocent, how can a vehicle driveshaft slap the tunnel from just starting up? It doesn’t, I got it from the transporter like that and dam money was tight to send it back especially when it was gona cost me a grand to send bac. Moral of it, make sure you know the truth before purchasing
