Amazing restaurant with a passionate owner who takes pride in his food. Having him chat with us at the table talking about his vision with each dish really made it worth going. I recommend doing the chef tasting menu which is tailored to your dietary presences so it’s not always the same.

I really can't recommend this place enough - I wish more people knew about it as they deserved to be packed to overflowing. Absolutely deliciously spiced currys with very inventive flavours. Staff can advise if you're unsure! Loads of veggie options but I didn't ask about vegan. And to top it all off they also have cocktails.

Amazing Fijian Indian food. More flavour from ingredients, less cream and additives in comparison to mainstream curries. Would highly recommend.

Bottomless Drinks and a Mix of entree/finger food

Loved the food, the spicy chicken nibbles and the loaded fries were a hit for me, by the time I made it back to the table the mussels were demolished, so guessing they were a hit as well.

Chris was pretty awesome, very informative letting us know what is next on the menu and how it’s best to be eaten i.e Mussels straight away, he also asked if we wanted some naan to dip in the remaining sauce + his staff were great with checking we had drinks.

We were a pretty loud rowdy bunch of 17, so I appreciate you accomodating us in short notice, your prompt response when initially reaching out was fab too.

Delicious & elegant! Totally enjoyed a late lunch here, the owner shared suggestions of food pairings based on what we told him we liked. It was amazing! Great combination of Indian & Fijian flavours!

I must commend the excellent customer service. Loved the food. You must try the Indo Asian dishes, quite tasty, go for spicy if you can handle it. Highly recommend.

Finally a Fiji Indian restaurant on Ponsonby. It was a spontaneous dinner date where we felt very welcome and left feeling very warm fuzzy inside… just the way island makes you feel #home

Seriously one of the greatest restaurants in Ponsonby. Food quality is absolutely top notch, everything is made from scratch, caters to any and all food allergies and sensitivities, just ask! Great cocktails, great indian and south pacific dishes. Support local - family owned and operated. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian stuff, absolutely no nuts in anything and even some grain free options. Do not miss!

Went out for dinner last night had a great time and awesome customer service. Yummy food and just the right amount of servings. Highly recommend. If you’re up for a fusion Fijian Indian food.

31 hosted a private function for our school Christmas dinner. The service was great, food was ready in a timely manner. All the guests had an amazing time. Thank you very much:)
