AA Vehicle Testing Glen Innes

Don’t go here for vehicle compliance. Incredibly unhelpful, misleading, will have you running in circles. Wouldn’t let us book it in, wouldn’t tell us when we could come back; have had multiple trips there based off wrong information. We finally found an independent compliance agency who sorted it for us straight away. Wasted $$$. Rip off! Don’t waste your time

Visited for licence renewal. A short wait but otherwise good service. Staff were pleasant.

They're pretty thorough, which is good as I do want my car in good condition to drive

Didn't pass the exam. Mark was my instructor did some minor mistakes and he categorized under critical errors. I believe that I won't be able to get through from this center if I try again. Better avoiding this center.

Staff are great. Very helpful and can explain issues in layman's terms so I can understand.

Closed at 2: 30 when supposed to be at 3pm. I went there for real me verification at 2: 27 pm and the lady left after a few seconds when I enter. The other man behind the counter said he can't help!

If I had have known how long this would take I would have bought some lunch, ridiculously under staffed if you haven't got hours to wait it's probably fine, otherwise go somewhere else.

We used the mobile pre-purchase service.
The mechanic did a great inspection and the report was detailed.
The price is worth it.

Worst AA Centre and the worst customer service rep (Indian lady). When I spoke over the phone they said Glenn Innes is doing theory test but when I go there she said go to Manukau for every question I asked. May be they are conducting tests based in their moods.

I sat my driving license test here in the late 1970's when it was Ministry of Transport. I've been coming here ever since. For the WOF service I trust the staff as they have no conflict of interest. They do not do repairs so have nothing to gain from finding unnecessary faults. I have even been fortunate enough to be warned of dodgy repairs done to my car with often some free advice when the staff have time. It does get busy some times but I generally get the WOF check done on the day I go in without problem. I imagine you can phone to check on the wait time. In any case I won't go anywhere else for my WOF.

Completely random on what they'll pull you up on for a wof. Went to them for 3 years and depending on who they have working, they'll pull you up on random things that other inspectors have let you pass with on previous occasions. Sees they just make it up as they go along just to fill their quota of failed vehicles.

Cannot rate car services as I went there for license or real me which always result in failure. You will end up with broken machine excuse, kicking you out for later time or another day. Save yourself trouble and go to another branch if you need those.

Nice bunch of people that do a great job. Sometime you have to wait a bit but that's to be expected - I think they are going as fast as possible - they just get busy. Cheers

A few years ago I was served by a rude lady and I stopped coming. In recent months I returned and the lady who now serves is so polite, efficient and professional. Thank you for employing the right people.

I am very late with this review sorry. Great service and pricing. My Toyota Wish rego had been cancelled because it had not been renewed in over a year. These guys were busy but got my car in and out in less than a day for a full re-registration. They also came in a few hundred cheaper than Manukau VTNZ. Friendly and helpful team. Thanks very much.

The staff were very efficient and helpful when advising on, and assessing the necessary paperwork involved in my particular application.

Great team at Glen Innes AA! Had to do the whole compliance test and new rego and they were transparent and accommodating the whole process, really appreciate their work!

Pretty average service, and poor attitude of testers, I get they do same thing everyday but at least treat people as customers.

Not happy took my Holden for prepurchase inspection on the behalf of customer to sell my vehicle they have found unnecessary faults before selling it. Even we have spent 600 dollar at Holden to stop leaking of steering rack and Holden said these faults are unnecessary fault.
Charged out 184 dollars and I was so hopeless unable to sell my vehicle as he found unnecessary fault.
Holden have put degreaser to clean assembly and they thought its leaking. Not happy at all.
I took my car back to Holden they said nothing wrong with vehicle. Why you guys found unnecessary fault and stop me to sell my vehicle and lost a customer after waiting for more than 5 month. Why?
I do regular check and Inspection at Holden at all times I have all evidence to prove it that no problem with steering rack and assembly leakage.

Lady behind desk told us they are closed for organising international driver’s license 30mins before they actually closed, heaps of staff standing around talking, we asked if it takes a long time, or if the person that does it had gone home she was like not at all, we’ve just closed it for the day, asked if we could come in on a Saturday, ‘oh you could try your luck’ fairly frustrating
