We clad our entire house with Abodo vulcan cladding 2 years ago, it is aging very well with no cupping or cracking, walls are still dead straight. Glad we choose it over cedar. The decking is just the same, very stable. The team were great to work with as well. Great products.

Just Wow! We’ve used Abodo’s Sand decking and Vulcan screening in a number of areas across our properties over a number of years. The finish and quality of their products is amazing. The decking has stood the test of time over the years and has silvered off nicely but still retains its beautiful visual grain with no cracking/defects. Having spent a lot of time and money on other products in the past, the time and effort they’ve put into developing this product and ensuring it stands the test of time is outstanding. Their Vulcan thermally modified screening comes in a number of beautiful profiles and stands out architecturally against other types of product. Amazing job Abodo! Love your continued focus on innovating new products in a sustainable way. You are my first choice for any projects!

Orders cladding from Abodo 10 months ago. Delivery date has been pushed back three times. Latest date was today, but they have failed to deliver again! Supposedly will be delivered in a months time now. These constant delays are costing us $$$ and causing untold stress and anxiety to us and our builder. Choosing Abodo product was the worst decision we ever made when renovating our house, I wish I’d never heard of them

We’ve visited the Abodo Cabin located in the Cardrona Valley a few times over the last two years. The Cabin is so amazing that it worths making a stop when you are in the area.

Worst supplier we’ve dealt with. Would recommend any other supplier in this category. Embarrassment

Great product, but we can't get it. After 10 months since placing our order, Abodo have failed to hit their delivery dates which have been pushed out four times.
We are now three months past their original delivery date and we have to wear the cost of scaffold that is waiting for cladding, and for extra rent as our house build is delayed. Without this cladding we can't get the house weather tight, and the knock on effect of moving dates and securing trades is a nightmare. Meanwhile they are avoiding direct contact and hiding behind the supplier. It feels irresponsible to sell a product that they can't supply.

We are so very worn out and unfairly disappointed by being updated each week by your company with no delivery date whatsoever that Abodo might bother to give us for our Vulcan cladding to complete our entire new build. I understand there was a fire. There was covid… we all have challenges, right? Clients are accommodating if there’s at least a nuance of empathy both ways. Not from Abodo. Your company is continuing still to cost us $1,700 a week in unused scaffolding. Do your clients the common decency of providing at least an estimated delivery date to at least allow them to plan their team of builders around your ongoing, expensive and extremely stressful non deliveries. To be advised by your team to "call back next week, call back next week, the stock's on it's way but we don't know when" - nearly a year after placing the order and still be provided no delivery date every time we ring your company is unacceptable. Supply chain planning and fair, clear communication is not that unattainable - whatever your circumstances.

We built the Abodo Wood showcase at Cardona it is a harsh and very dry environment with a large temperature differential. With Abodo wood we had no after movement everything stayed straight and true and the joints and details are as good now as when we first put them up. As a builder having assurance like this in the timber you are using gives you more confidence in the product and a way better result that stands the test of time.

I have purchased decking from Abodo wood on a few occasions now and was also lucky enough to see there work shop In Auckland! They work hard to produce the best quality on a daily basis! There products are top of the line and recommend looking at there cladding and decking range!

I have built two decks with ABODO kiln dried pine decking and have impressed both times by the quality and longevity of the product.

Brilliant product - had new deck put in, pre-treated at factory with walnut oil- looks great and will wear like a hardwood now -and its enviro friendly:)
