Chipped my tooth while on holiday and was panicking thinking I'd have to walk around looking like a hill billy for the next 5 weeks. My friend recommended this dentist but wished me luck getting in - with fingers crossed I was lucky enough to find an appointment the next day.
From when I walked in a was greeted with a warm welcome from the front of desk and then within a minute of sitting down met my dentist Dr. Matt Summer.
Very professional, he had a quick inspection and sat me back up to give me some really good advice as well as the best option - even recommended the more affordable yet equally effective solution which I felt was a class act. He worked to a high standard ensuring everything was perfect before letting me go and followed up the next day to see how I was and more importantly how the teeth were.
By far the best dentist I've been to. Everyone is so welcoming, throughout your treatment you know you are in good hands all the way from the front of desk to the dentist. Couldn't recommend Accent Dentists enough.

Matt and his team tick all the boxes. Top quality results, friendly and reassuring service and extremely accommodating. Matt listens to your thoughts or concerns, and provides you with the best solution for your unique circumstances. The biggest green flag for me is that Matt doesn't push you to go for the most expensive option. After having a weirdly shaped front tooth veneer fitted at 14 years old after an accident, I was in desperate need of getting it replaced years later. I'd visited many dentists over the years as I had been travelling/living in different countries, including multiple dentists in the UK, Czech Republic, Thailand and here in NZ. Every dentist (circa 8 different clinics!) expressed that there was no way I could have only the front tooth veneer replaced by itself and insisted I needed veneers on both front teeth so they would match each other. I wasn't convinced of this, and a friend recommended me to Accent. I was presented with various options by Matt, and was urged to go for the choice of preserving my perfectly healthy front tooth (which was also the cheapest option). Matt was confident he could replace the veneer only and get it to match. The results are impeccable, my front teeth match perfectly and I walked away beyond thrilled. Couldn't recommend Accent more, thanks so much!

Karen Hobbs has been my dental hygienist for years. I trust her completely and was pleased to be offered the opportunity to also get a filling with her. I have grown to expect professionalism and a positive fun atmosphere and that is what I got. I would recommend Karen Hobbs and this dental practice.

Was a new scaredy patient! Had a great experience with the whole team. Friendly, helpful, listened… walked out feeling relieved and happy, and with beautifully cleaned teeth thanks to Yamuna and the terrific airflow treatment.

I have just come back from an appointment with Karen - WOW, my teeth have never felt cleaner! This is by far the best dental experience I have ever had. Karen is knowledgable, professional, kind and caring. She gave me great advice on how to look after my teeth and they feel amazing! Highly recommended, she is simply the best!

I have been visiting Accent for the past year - great service - great team my hygienist Karen is amazing I have since been able to go ahead with front tooth implant after having some gum disease issues put under control that Accent helped me with - highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

I am absolutely delighted with the veneers on my two front teeth, carried out by Matt and his team at Accent Dental. Matt’s calm presence, clear communication and his ability to be incredibly gentle resulting in a completely pain free procedure, made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. As well as this, Matt genuinely cared about getting the very best results for me which meant I could put complete faith in him. His was meticulous in ensuring the veneers were perfect and his attention to detail and appreciation for aesthetics ensured he achieved this. Matt is the best! I’m very grateful to have had him carry out my dental work and I cannot recommend him enough.

I have been seeing Karen at Accent Dental for many years and can highly recommend her as the best hygienist in town! I've tried other clinics closer to where I live but the clean she gives is unbeatable and 100% worth the drive for me. Karen is super experienced, calm, gentle and gives the most thorough clean you can get. She's the best!

The level of anxiety and fear I have with dentists is so extreme that I avoided dentists like the plague, for years. In saying that, after gentle and consistent coaxing, I had my first oral hygiene session with Jade (Karen) Hobbs this morning and was actually blown away. Her level of utmost care, concern, patience and understanding is beyond and she made me feel entirely at ease. Thank you so much for turning my fear/phobia into a positive and healthy mouth obsession. A healthy mouth is a happy mouth. I couldn't recommend Jade highly enough x

I was a bit anxious about seeing a dental hygienist for the first time after chemo, but Yamuna was awesome!
She was so professional and gave some great advice. The best thing was it didn’t hurt at all!
I came away with noticeably whiter teeth as well - bonus!:)

I chose Accent because I had heard great things about Matt and his team. Since being a patient, I have had nothing but great results. Chipped front tooth repaired in my 20s needed serious upgrading -got the implant sized and colour matched perfectly. I cracked my molar from grinding, Matt was able to fit, size and implant the crown all in an afternoon with digital impression technology. Accent has been awesome all around!

I wish I have done this a long time ago. No words could explain my happiness and excellent work done by Accent Dentist. Everything was explained and planned from first appointment. Very professional service and quality of work is well beyond my expectations.

I was very happy with my dentist in the UK, but when I arrived in NZ back in 2019 I had a really bad experience with my first choice. They left my teeth in quite a painful and sensitive state so I was a little anxious to say the least when I approached Matt and the team at Accent.
Matt was really great from the get go. He understood the situation as I explained it and laid out simple options for me around ongoing treatment. He has a great manner and all the very latest equipment, as does Karen who is the best Hygienist I have ever had.
They've both been treating me for more than 18 months now, during which time I haven't experienced any discomfort at all. I would heartily recommend them to anyone.

I don’t often leave reviews, but Matt, Lucy, and the Accent team are just as great as the many 5* reviews say they are!
Had a fab first experience - Matt is friendly and relaxed, and took the time to understand my concerns, did a comprehensive examination, explained everything thoroughly, and patiently answered all my questions. He was careful to make sure there was no pressure to have any work done, he just told me my options and the pros and cons, and left the decision up to me.
Would highly recommend to anyone =)
