Over a month ago I got a back injury that restricted my ability to walk or even sit up without pain. My boss saw me in pain and referred me to Iain straight away. From the first day I met Iain I felt hopeful and comfortable that I will get over this tough time. Iain explained everything to me and shows genuine interest in helping me recover. Each session I have with Iain, he shows great interest and cares on how I am doing and what level of pain I am in. BTW: I'm was an older American tourist who was WAY OUT on a broken limb when I got stupid and had a big accident. Put myself well behind the 8-Ball and went to hospital for the initial issues. They could treat the big deal that happened, but their follow-up was weak. Better than here in the states, but still lacking real hands-on skill. Thankfully, my NZ-resident son knew just what to do: send me directly to Dr. Woods. Between he and Glen, I was able to walk tall out of there in just a few visits. Now I see a chiropractor and an acupuncturist quarterly, just to keep in-tune.

One of the best specialists I've ever been to, Glenn always helps to release tensions in my back and neck - something i've been struggling with for a long time.

I have had the best experience here and couldn't recommend enough! I injured my lower lumbar a year ago, slipping two discs. I was in severe pain and I could hardly walk for the first few months. I saw Ian for chiropractic treatment who then referred me to Glen for acupuncture. Ian took xrays and spent extra time with me to make sure I got the best treatment. He has a specials talent for sensing exactly what Is going on without mucking around. Glen is a life saver, and spent a lot of time with me educating me on certain muscle groups etc that affect the spin. He related his past back injures to mine and was empathic to what I needed. He also took me through exercises that would strengthen my core and advance my recovery. I also suffer from anxiety and Glen takes a holistic approach to treating me and take extra time to listen and figure out how best to help. Ive had needles, cupping and massage. Both Ian and Glen have a huge wealth of knowledge and are very experienced and professional. I have recommended to all my friends and family who also have great things to say about the clinic. A year later, I still see both Ian and Glen. Highly HIGHLY recommend. In the past I have seen many other professionals including physios and osteos etc, but at the end of the days, I saw the biggest results from Ian and Glen. The receptionists are also really lovely. These guys are honestly the biggest life savers.if you're having trouble with your back or any other health related problems, these guys are the BEST!

Experienced acupuncturist conveniently located in the CBD for urban dwellers. Glenn has years of sports and injury rehabilitation experience to draw on and is able to combine these techniques with acupuncture for fast and successful results with severe muscle injuries. He was able to assist in rapidly reducing my pain levels due to a muscular injury, making it possible to heal in more comfort and at a faster pace. He is also able to assist with stress levels, hormone imbalances and a multitude of other ailments all whist administering a friendly, warm and caring bedside manner. Highly recommended.

I have used Glenn for both acupuncture and massage therapy for many years. I have found his exceptional professionalism and his ability to combine Chinese traditional medicine and massage to be very effective. I have been having Acupuncture with Glenn for a number of years as I navigated my journey of Endometriosis, Hernias, Digestive issues and more recently Rectal prolapse. Had it not been for Glenn's treatments and intuitive ability to assist removing immense pain from my body and keep my digestive system in a manageable state, I would not have managed my work days. Even acupuncture needles with Glenn made me smile after hospital injections made me cry. Good location - easy for those who live/work at CBD region. Staffs were very professionals. However, the price of the consultation is a bit more expensive than other chiropractic clinics.

As a retired chiropractor myself and having discovered Ian Wood I would never go to another chiropractor again. Honestly, he’s amazing. The best manipulator in New Zealand. Everyone should get treated so they can be the best they can be.
