Went in to get a WoF done recently. Was told i needed a ton of suspension work with multiple key parts that were broken and dangerous + 2 new tires and was looking at paying over $1500 for the work. It sounded a bit suspicious as he told me a story of how his uncle used to own one of these and the suspension always goes on them, so i took it down to the VTNZ, turns out it was all lies and it failed on 3 light bulbs. Suspension was fine and all the tires were well within the limits, good in fact.

Avoid at all costs unless you want to pay for things that don't need doing, if they even get done at all. Scam.

Called up early in the morning to see if they could check my car out that had just broke down. Within an hour of dropping my vehicle off my alternator had been replaced. AMAZING service and a great price. Years ago, my partner needed a tow rope and at another stage tools and these were leant to him with trust and no charge. HIGHLY recommend this company. Will keep returning here for all mechanical needs.

The owner at Autofix is great, take my cars to him for suspension work, oil change and wof job. Also not having to worry about selling your arms and legs.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic don’t look further. They were quick to do the job and a very reasonable price. Will definitely come back

We were heading up north on a family trip and heard a clunking noise coming from the back of the vehicle. We took the vehicle to the nearest mechanic, being Albany Autofix, and they inspected the vehicle even though they were really busy to find some bushing that had deteriorated, which wouldn't be an issue for the remaining drive. Was top notch service and I would highly recommend these guys for your next auto fix!

Had a wonderful experience from the shop. Eventhough Mr. Benny couldn't do much to my car, he temporarily fixed it and explained clearly what has happened and what to do next. He spend his valuable time and effort for free which is rare to be seen. Thank you for your kindness.

It was a last minute call from me for the next day service. Took my car in for a rear shock absorber replacement and they did their job really well at a very good price. Other mechanics were offering very costly ridiculous prices that would take a whole day job for them but Albany Auto Fix didn’t waste anytime. I was surprised by their efficiency and offered to pay an extra $10 for their work. I’m taking my car to these guys onwards. Thank you Albany Auto Fix.

Had my first experience of Albany Autofix today and was stoked by the service, efficiency and customer support. He clearly wants the best deal for the customer and I'll be going here from now on.

I have never been here before but I took my van in today so Benny could take a quick look despite it not being booked in and he was pretty busy. A quick look and check of things and he identified the problem and I was away to repco to get a $21 part. He was very decent and professional as he could have booked me in and charged me for all sorts and I wouldn't have known. I'm a student on a tight budget so I was grateful for his kindness. I will definitely be coming here in future.

The best mechanic in whole Auckland. My car needed quite an expensive replacement but Benny went out of his way and tried some less expensive alternatives first to make sure the replacement is really necessary. Really thorough and professional service. Compared to other mechanics I've been to pricing is more than fair and Benny really knows what he's doing.

Benny saved us more than once, he's a gem. He's very knowledgeable and resourceful.
We went to Benny after our car wouldn't start. Turned out we drowned our PC unit during rainy night with open window. Benny then went out of his way to get us back on the road even after his closing hours, trying to save us money by putting the drowned ECU back together. When that didn't work out, he got us a second hand unit for great price. He should have charged us way more for all the work he had done.
If it was not for him we would be in much more trouble. Great mechanic.
