Great food, lovely airy environment, friendly service, and great to see so many well behaved dogs inside a cafe

Staffs are very friendly and kind. Love their truffle fries and salmon tuna tataki. So delicious! Beautiful cafe

Got takeaway coffees which were ok. May need flies control? They were pretty annoying. The coffee prep table needed to be kept clean and tidy too - coffee beans were everywhere.

Hi I just went to Ampersand for lunch with my wife and was dissapointed on arriving to find only a brunch menu available……. BUT I chose the Ramen with Pork Belly and even though I travel extensively in Asia was best I have eaten, whomever cooked this dish is a master chef - it was absolutely delicious and I will be recommending this dish to everyone I know - was truly amazing and congratulations on a simple dish having very rich and complex flavours - superb 11/10

Been to Ampersand many times & always satisfied. This place never fails you. Everything we ordered was good quality & flavoursome. Good wine selections too.

Lovely breakfast, highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast, a very well balanced meal in terms of flavour and nutrition.

Good service and seriously delicious food. So nice that they allow dogs too. Perfect for a stop before or after a walk around Orakei basin.

Orakei has upped it's game with Ampersand. Been here a few times for brunch. Plenty of parking available by the plant barn. (Pictured: tasty af waffles)

Simply the best service and food we've had in Auckland. I even gave a tip which I never do I was so impressed! Well done the team.

Great venue and service, however very, very expensive eg: $7 for a coke and $28 for a halloumi tomato salad. Also the eggs on toast just came with one small piece of bread? Everything was very well executed though, couldn’t fault the cooking just expect to spend quite a bit.

Do t care how good anything is, when you charge 1.80 for a mill option then 1l costs $4 at reta at the supermarket you’re just disgustingly price gouging.

Came for a last-minute birthday dinner for 4. Excellent outside seating on a lovely evening. The service and food were very good. We will certainly be back!

Great coffee. Good, sizeable brunch options. I loved the breakfast burrito. And the sausage in the big breakfast. Apparently they make the sausage mix themselves - no wonder it's so good. The cafe is quite busy, which is always a good sign. But it does mean that you can be forgotten.

Had Saturday breakfast.the kidney dish is sensational and will definitely be back to have it again

Such a unique experience to have table service which was on point. They even apologized at the entrance for low staffing levels. Didn't even notice as we were made to feel welcome and given lots of attention. So refreshing to see hospitality at its finest on a midweek ladies brunch.

Good food and service. If you have a dog you can take it with you. Yes they allow it! That’s so cool.

Friendly service and nice food. Good selection for the kids menu, my daughter ordered the bolognaise pasta and it was just the right amount of flavour for little ones!

Amazing food, fantastic wait staff. Always such a pleasure to eat here, shame we don't live closer or I'd be here every day!
