As a tenant I have had excellent responses. Never had a call that wasn’t answered immediately and any issues have been sorted super quick. Thanks Kimmy.

We have really enjoyed living in an Anemax’s. Rick was always supportive and responsive when we needed something done in the house. He has a clear timeline dealing with urgent and non-urgent repairs so other tenants also benefit from the reasonable arrangements. Those most in need always get immediate help.

Reggie has been an awesome landlord to our flat for the last 1.5 years. He has always been prompt when it comes to repairing facilities, and quick to respond to any rent/utility queries. Anemax has left a really good impression on us, and I'd be happy to work with them again if the opportunity arises.

We have been Anemax's tenants for years, always receive great services and advices. Reggie has always been really helpful and flexible. If you are looking to rent a property then Anemax is definitely your to go agency.

Relatively helpful at first while renting through them, although they used unreliable contractors that did not get jobs completed and left some critical items out. Broken sliding door never repaired. Cracked bath never repaired. Broken super tub never repaired. Handrailing installed by staircase, but left unpainted. Measured up rotten decking planks to be replaced and never came back to replace. After stepping through one plank, injuring my ankle and leg, spent hundreds of dollars fixing and painting the deck myself. On giving notice within the terms of the signed tenancy agreement, (21 days) they argued that there was a law change to 28 days, and I should have let them know so they can inform me of the change (no logic here). After wasting days arguing, a suitable tenant was signed on that wanted to move in earlier. To ensure a fast, smooth bond refund process, I had to pay $600 to have the very old, worn carpets cleaned, which was dirty AF when we moved in. We left the house 10 x tidier and cleaner than when we moved in, with photos as proof. When handing back keys (Saturday), Reggie said he will send me the bond refund form Monday. I received a blank, unsigned form only on Tuesday. Filled, signed and sent back immediately and requested them to do the same. Then I was informed the owner was away on holiday and I will have to wait another week. Upon query, I was told he saved me money by finding tenants to coincide with the notice given, so he did me a favor.

They only follow the law where it suits them. Always an unnecessary argument with them. Nothing verbal from them can be trusted. Lack of professionalism. Definitely not recommended by me.

Had a terrible experience with one of the agent of this place - her name is Kimmy which resulted in an initial one star review of this place. We had called yesterday to arrange for a viewing at an apartment listed on Trademe and had been told that it was available for viewing at 5: 30pm the next day, so we made an appointment with the agent. We arrived at the location early and decided to call her to let her know. After 2 unsuccessful attempts, one of which she picked up and quickly hung up on us. On the third attempt (after 20 minutes of waiting in the cold), she then informed us that the apartment had already been filled. Whilst this is perfectly okay and it was unfortunate that we missed out, the lack of communication and failure to inform potential client is distasteful and frankly disrespectful. I sincerely hope that the owners of the practice would investigate this behaviour of this particular agent so they can improve and not lose out on potential clients. We have not had the experience with other agents from this company but this particular representative of your company is making me lose faith in your reputation.

Edit: the following day the agent had called us to apologise for this error on her part, she explained that the reason she quickly hung up was because she was driving. Thank you to the owner for the prompt action on their part and for the agent to acknowledge her mistakes. This prompts them up to a 3 stars rating from me. Wish the company and the agent the best of luck in future and may this comment be a reminder to serve as common best practice in effective communication with clients. Best, Duncan

I would recommend Anemax to everyone who is looking for a professional property manager. They have been extremely considerate, polite, and helpful. A good example of well communicating between tenant and landlord.
