Antique Alley reviews
18We went there today and had a quite disappointing experience, the only reason is the owner didn’t say any word to us, not even a hello. I am 100% sure that he saw us, but no words at all. After maybe 5 minutes, a kiwi lady went inside, he said hi! My friend and myself was very shocked, never had this experience before.wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
Me and my frd poped in this afternoon. The guy inside the counter (Guess he is the owner), No greeting at all. No other customer in store atm. Thats fine if he treats all customers THE SAME WAY. So funny a local lady poped in few mind later and he greeted her asap. Yep we did find some little things we really like. But don't want to spend money there and won't visit again.
Super cute antique store: 3
They actually have a second floor as well, but i prefer the first floor. The store is a bit cramped and kinda hard to navigate so don't bring a huge bag or anything. The prices are reasonable and there's a huge variety of trinkets and cutlery etc. Definitely recommend coming!
Loved this place. Old store, packed full, lots to choose from, store owner was professional and engaging. Highly recommend to antique shoppers.
Was very interesting and lots of things.
Shame they don't have a bigger space but still good:)
Just left the store fewminutes ago and I have to write a review. I was wondering on the streets and saw this antique store. The moment I walked in I felt like I could live here forever! Here, you can discover magic. You can flip through the pages of history. All the cool collectible are well/ cheap priced but with awesome condition, owner really friendly ; I literally want to buy everything in the store. Sadly, I live in North shore, but I’ll comeback to Mt Eden just for this little place.
A treasure trove stuffed full of surprises! There's always lots of beautiful china and an ever changing selection of furniture, art and antiques that is fun to explore.
A treasure trove! The store is incredible to wander through with an eclectic mix of antiques. You can find almost anything and everything. The ordered chaos is a huge part of the store's charm. I could get lost for hours looking at everything. Incredibly helpful staff. A must!
Got a fabulous 1923 hand crank Singer sewing machine from Antique Alley. They have great stuff. Highly recommended shop.
Drove all the way here to find it was closed due to the team being on holiday. While I get that people need a holiday it would be very helpful if the store updated its opening ours so as to not disappoint customers.
Had been on the market for a while for a half round hall table, not just any I might add.
Came across a listing (though not exactly what you would consider half round) on Facebook Marketplace and was instantly wowed, and purchased it.
Upon pickup, it was absolutely perfect
In addition, I did not realise the vast range available in store, and was intrigued. It's a treasure trove.
I could have spent hours in the store admiring each individual piece, unfortunately time wasnt on my side.
I will definitely be a returning customer.
You can pick up some good furniture Treasure trove. Great for unique gifts at a variety of prices.
I've been visiting here since it opened in 1971. A mazelike interior with more stuff in a small space than you'd ever expect to encounter. Fun. Unforgettable interior.
This shop is so full! Its a little hard to get around and see everything. But guess good for a treasure hunter. I wouldn't want to touch the trios as they'd probably all fall down.
Been open some 40 odd years and you can tell, so much taonga. Authentic little shop, shelves are packed full and all the walk ways are tight. Heaps of old Kiwiana stuff and British made cutlery. Lots of antique furniture and art. Small selection of old tools which was nice to see. Definitely something for everyone and worth a look. You could get lost and spend an hour pouring through old bits and pieces.
Great selection of antiques without feeling cluttered as some antique shops can feel. Manager was friendly enough. The shop felt very well organized and there was free parking nearby.
Cute little shop full of all kinds of stuff, most of it much older than me. This shop has been here as long as I can remember.
