Awesome stock, and worthwhile to visit the website often. Love that they constantly update what is available. And their discounts are actually significant, unlike other "outlet/clearance" stores. Only thing I will say is that the delivery guys who are a different company, sent two not so strong guys, who had me worried the whole way through. Fridge made a few awful sounds here and there. Anyways, cheers team.

Initially rated higher but the incompetence of the salesman caused a change of view.
Salesman used my Gem visa to pay for someone else's account. He just got off the phone to the customer when I waited patiently at the counter.
When I pointed out I was being undercharged for my Rangehood the penny dropped.
The Salesman then put through a second transaction with Gem to make the amount charged to the $600+ total owed.
I put it on Gem to get the 6 month interest. Now I am facing paying interest on a big chunk of the purchase.
Gem says Appliance Outlet needs to sort it.
They in turn want me to trek 56km return to scan my card that they didn't need to bill me in the first place. So they can re do the transactions.
What a dam disaster and waste of my time and money.

I chose Appliance Outlet Auckland because they sell refurbished and display models considerably cheaper than the new price. Communications were excellent. I had email conversations, and photos sent (because I'm in the South Island) which were prompt, helpful and pleasant. I bought a washing machine, however it turned out to be on their computer, but not in the showroom. Jeff found me a suitable alternative very quickly, which I accepted. Within 4 working days, it had arrived at the courier depot, where I had arranged to pick it up. The courier (Fliway) were excellent, and I inspected it before it was loaded. The machine was totally acceptable (yes it had been used and had very minor blemishes on one side.for the price it was in excellent condition), and as far as I can see it works fine (only used it once so far). The only grumble I have is that it is supposed to have bolts inserted for transit, to prevent damage when moving it around. There were no bolts, just holes where they should be.
3 years later: It is still giving great washing service and has never needed repair. Excellent.
