Auckland Fences

Thank you to the team at Auckland Fences and their contractors. The team have built us a fantastic automated gate and fence across the front of our property and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Can’t speak highly enough of Grant, Chint, Shane and Chantal, and Roman for their superb workmanship, attention to detail and professionalism. Thank you everyone for your wonderful work, coming when you said you would, and working so hard for us!

One of our fences blew down in Cyclone Gabriela and our neighbour contracted with Auckland fences to replace it.

The job was done very quickly, which was very welcome given how busy contractors currently are cleaning up the aftermath. The workers were pleasant, professional and helpful.

The new fence looks good and we are pleased with the result.

Auckland Fences did not disappoint. After being let down by numerous other fence companies Auckland Fences came and put up fantastic, quality fence at a great price. The guys who did it worked in the most inclement weather. What a great worth ethic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Auckland fences is right up my book when it comes to quality fences. These guys are legends. Grant went above my expectations, from design-start-to finish, just awesome. He even sorted my old furnitures to be thrown away. Mat is the one who handled the project. He gave lots of great ideas for my fence to look good, they even cleaned up properly after smashing it for only a day. Sweet Nadia from the office was very helpful as well. Can't fault this company. Shaun provided outstanding customer service. His team did a great job to a high quality. They were excellent from the start where they provided design ideas, a quick and accurate quote and excellent workmanship. We are very happy with the outcome and highly recommend them.

Great service and great work. It was difficult site and they did the job amicably. Very helpful and they took my suggestions on board. Apart from being reasonably priced, the workmanship was great as well.

Initial contact and pricing prompt and curtious, actual fence built well enough.a bit rough in places but overall ok. Then once fence finished I was told that the gates were going to be another 2 weeks.ok. 4weeks later the gates finally finished right on Christmas.
Grant was our project manager however once started didn't see much of him at all.
Final invoice issued saying job was completed however clearly the office does not communicate effectively with their tradesman as there were no gate's, bits of fencing to tidy up and excess materials left onsite still.
I had to deal directly with their gate guy to complete a they sub this part of the job out,
This project was a large contact for our company and once the job was completed I put their invoice through to accounts for payment, right on Christmas may I add.
So went on holidays only to find a bunch of messages left over the Christmas break about overdue payment. Not only that but they had gone to our client's house and knocked on their door over Christmas asking why they hadn't been paid.not a great look!
Paid the invoice upon returning from holidays, so roughly 3 weeks after job completion. (They took 6 weeks to complete 25LMfence)
If you are a builder I would avoid these guys totally as the last thing you need is a fencing company banging on your client's door deliberately trying to make your company look bad.very unprofessional!

Great communication from Auckland Fences, high quality of workmanship and I was really impressed how quickly the work was completed.

Auckland Fences recently replaced 27m of fence for me. Work was done to a good standard, deep post holes, close palings, capped and stepping up a slope nicely. Tidy up could have been better but it was a tricky site. I would reccommend them. Price was good.

We recently replaced our rear fence and absolutely happy with that. Company provides free measurements and quote. For reasonable price they removed old fence, and build the new one. Now fence looks amazing!
If you want to get your fence built quickly - go with these guys!

The service of this company is an excellent one. The quality, price and delivery were all up to my expectation. I recommend this company to anybody wanting to do new fences or replacing existing ones.

Issues we had with this company. Breaking an exposed fibre conduit, staff lying they repaired it, staff not turning up, communication, not building to spec, poor quality workmanship, poor quality timber. Today we had an independent builder confirm a number of structural issues. And we see Jeremy has even given a 5 star review of his own company!

I've worked with these guys on a number of projects, and they get an A for effort, and diligence. As with anything in the outdoor trades, weather has impacted them, but they have always stood behind their work, and happy to be able to make sure they deliver what they were contracted to. Along with this, their information focuses on informing as much as possible about what they are pricing to do.

Spoke to Grant who gave us reassurance that the job would be done properly and there would be team of people working on the job.
It started with 2 builders though didn't appear to be full time. On 5th day down to 1 guy then no-one turned up. When i called the company noone cohld tell me why there were no builders.
Now back to 2 builders but there is still so much to do. Site has lots of rubbish and the telecoms conduit that was clearly visible has been broken in multiple places.
I've also asked for 2 parts of job to be finished properly. I've reminded the project manager every day but still not got what I asked for.
Seems they are extremely understaffed for the job and as a result currently a week late from the revised start date.
Disappointed.

Called them 3 weeks so I could be quoted on 3 styles of fences, no one called. I rang again 3 days ago asking for someone to contact me concerning replacing my 30.7m long fence. Th telephonist who took my call gave no apology for any inconvenience and the way she spoke it was if she didn't really care anyway. As of today not even a text, or any communication. If they are this bad at communicating what would they be like on the job.if they turned up! I rang two small fencing companies this morning both are coming tomorrow to quote. Sometimes it pays to look to the smaller firms, they actually care about customers.

Cant even comment about workmanship as this company doesn't even bother calling back to give a quote. Two phone calls and two messages later. If you are to busy rather let people know.

Had a great experience with Auckland Fences. Alan has built a fantastic fence in a very short space of time, and been a huge help in removing old unwanted fencing and gates. Jeremy was very efficient in managing the process and really great at explaining the options etc to us at the outset. Top work all round.

Highly recommend. Did a great job and was really easy to deal with. Managed to arrange the whole job from Sydney via email for my rental property in Auckland. I couldn't be happier with the process or the result. Thanks Allan!
