Just discovered this place while looking for some wood to get us through the last few cold weeks of winter. Gold! Very dry wood, cut to a perfect size for the fireplace and a reasonable price for the quality and convenience. We got the gum, burns great. Highly recommended!

This is the best place in Auckland to get firewood. Chris sources nice smelling, long burning wood and he and his team run a slick, fast, super friendly operation.

I went there for the first time after viewing their website. I mentioned that my fireplace could only burn specific types of wood, we had a discussion, & was offered the type to use. The Team Leader was very knowledgeable & helpful. The entire Team were friendly, & Switched-On!

Unfortunately these guys are hardly open - I’m outside the yard now because the website says they are open but they are closed. Again. Time to find a new wood supplier for winter.

The owner is a a great guy who works hard and offers a premium product that is consistent and reliable - have been going for years and will keep going as I'm a real believer in supporting your local guys who care about what they do.

The other thing that I have noticed and have to mention is he hires young guys and trains them up - they start loading bags and then progress to face to face customer service which has been excellent across all the young guys he has had and they open up when the owner isn't there - great to see him taking on and training young people up

Great little Kiwi Business

Have been coming here for years and for good reason. Firewood is always dry and is bagged up, which is a great hassle and mess free option. Super helpful staff that can also recommend good woods for cooking and smoking - They even loaded the wood into my car!

Purchased 10 bags of gum, first night burning some tonight and really happy with it.
The two guys at the yard were helpful to even load into the vehicle.

Great firewood place. Ive got firewood from them the last two years. I get a hot mix thats always dry and ready to burn. This burns very hot so I use less. Great prices and delivered to my home. I will definitely buying more next year.

Very good price for firewood wood is always dry and very helpful team from paying and packing your car and you also get discounts for bringing the sacks back very good to check out if you cold this winter

Having finished off some old wood from a renovation last year I cracked into a bag from Auckland Firewood. The difference was amazing, heated the whole house, the hard wood from here was dry and burns hot, heaps better.

I discovered Auckland Firewood after I'd been delivered some wet firewood from a dodgy firewood company advertising on GrabOne. In comparison, the wood from Auckland Firewood is amazing. It's super dry, reasonably priced, and the guy that sells it is really friendly. I wish I hadn't wasted $200 on the other crap. Don't get sucked in to discount wood. It's just not worth it.

A recent cold spell had me feeling uncomfortably chilled. I panicked as it was after hours and a friend was arriving to stay for a while. To the rescue came Auckland Firewood, who opened the gates after closing and was incredibly kind and friendly.
The wood is always perfect- dry- no spiders or critters. The hessian sacks are great. My car and house spell so nice for a while after picking the wood up. So convenient and there really is no competition for this kind of service. Perfect.

Good stock, good wood. Helpful staff. If you want cheaper wood you could probably find it if you can be bothered. But we buy there because it's just so easy and if you value your time.just do it!
