We use Mick and his team for garden tidy-ups, lawn mowing and general maintenance with many of the properties we manage @Vertigro Property Management. Mick is great to deal with and he has a personable team that turn up and do the work. Great value. Thanks Mick and team.
I have used this company for 4 years after trying many others I was lucky enough to find Mick, never have my lawns and gardens looked so good, the service has been reliable and his team conduct themselves in a professional and outstanding manner. I also found out that Mick does a lot of community work within the local area, so people who do use this service can know they are supporting there area in the own way. This is the best Lawn mowing service on the coast by far and I'm really please to be able to support such an outstanding and well run business.
Generally, the quality of work was reasonable (albeit inconsistent) ; however, the crews would occasionally forget to remove the waste and/or would do a sloppy job on the lawns, leaving patches of long grass here and there. Given the price, I would have expected consistently good quality of service. My real concern; however, was with communication. I tried to the best of my abilities during the 18 months or so that I used this service to understand when the crews were coming to do my lawns (so that I could keep my dog indoors and clean up after my dog to avoid the crews stepping in anything undesirable) but was constantly chasing Mick, the owner, to get a confirmed date, or to confirm that his crews were rescheduling due to rain, shortage of people, etc. Mick assured me that I was on a regular schedule; however, the crews almost never came on that schedule, so it was left to me to be proactive, and even that wasn't working. A few weeks ago, after pointing out to Mick that his crews hadn’t done a complete job, Mick stopped responding to my texts and stopped sending his crews to do my lawns. A very disappointing and unprofessional way to end a work contract. I have never left a negative review about a business; however, I felt responsible to the community to speak up about my experience. I hope Mick and his crews can turn things around to better serve their clients.
