The owner of this place is dodgy.fixed my electric window 5 months back.it stopped working so I went back and the guy said it's something else without even re checking then said I have to book online to get it checked again but I had been emailing him constantly about coming in as I live out near Hobsonville.the guy told me to book in time for the warranty to be out.so it wouldn't cover as they'd loose out $$. Paid $500 for the whole thing to be replaced and that second hand as well.

He also didn't even have it on record they fixed it.unbelievable.been emailing and still no reply.even his worker said he was dodgy to me and charges more.

Never going back there again

So I got a windscreen replacement done on an Audi. It was half the price of what one of the leading franchise Auto Glass companies quoted me to do same job. It was completed the same day and they had courtesy car for $25 a day. I found this place by recommendation from a friend but I too would recommend them to you.

DO NOT GO HERE.this place is shady. They will charge you $$$$ and break your car. They replaced my broken mirror with a dodgy cut out of a mirror and then broke the unit inside. Then they proceeded to lie about the damage they had done. GO SOME WHERE ELSE.

I use them to change a a window it was very hard to find they found one and honoured their quote.

Paris was absolutely awesome she took the details she phone around and came back with a competitive quote and booked us in the next day.

They said it would take around four hours to complete the work. It was done in a timely manner. The service was friendly, an awesome team.

Brother Nazif took care of my vehicle at AWAW. I had a problem with my passenger side mirror. This was my first time here. I had quoted other places in South Auckland but their rates were exorbitant. Not only did he give me an affordable rate to fix the issue, he did it in quick time. Excellent service. Will highly reccomend.

Becareful of these guys. Don’t uses them. I went to replace my wind mirror and they replaced with non standard mirror. Pretty much you can’t see anything closer. There was a blind spot and its too risky to drive on motorway. Then I rang these guys many times, but never answer my calls, I believe they block my number. They asked me to pay cash NZD80.00 and said efpos machine was out of order. Also no receipt. Rip off. Finally I had to go to a another place and replaced my mirror professionally. Never recommend to any one, really dogie place. Don’t wast your money

I brought my car there to fix the connection of the rear window defogger. After the staff told me the job is done and I paid. The staff asked me to check if it works at night time. I tried at that night and next morning, but no luck. I went to see the staff next day. He told me his job was done and should be somethings wrong elsewhere in the car, so no power supply for the defrogger. In short, the staff just kept telling me not his problem and asked me to find an auto electrician and his job is finished. And he told me there was no auto electrician on site. How this happened for a company that no auto electrician on site, but they mentioned they provide that service from their website. Just trust me, DON'T go to that place if you have any electrical problem in your car. Very unprofessional company.

The team at AWAW fitted my windscreen with no hassles and at an affordable rate. Would definitely be back if I ever need glass/electrical work.

They just try to rip you off! I will never go to this place again! Not responsible for their repair.

I would not recommend anyone to go to this place as there are no qualified people to fix the problem. I had a minor stone chip size of 10c coin on the windscreen which could definitely be fixed but workers at this place call themselves professionals broke the whole windscreen trying to fix it. At the end all they said was ‘sorry, we tried to fix but we couldn’t’. And that made the problem even worse and now I need a windscreen replacement which I’ll have to pay on my own since they don’t take the responsibility for mucking up.

These guys were super friendly and did an awesome job of fixing up an issue with our car quickly so we could get on with our road trip. Thanks so much:)

Avoid it! Not honest at all!
I had a quote by phone, a confirmation of this quote when they checked the windscreen (70 $ for a chip repair). But when I was about to pay I realise it wasn’t the same price, 80,50$. The guy at the desk answered me with a little smile that the initial given price was without the GST.little trick of dishonest garage.

Be aware of this guy. I called to get a quote to replace the windscreen. They told me that it is $650 inc GST to replace the windscreen and they checked it is in stock from the supplier and it can be replaced the next day, so we dropped the car off to them. A week later, i have not heard from them, so i called them and ask if i can go and pick the car up. They told me that the windscreen they ordered was broken, so they ordered it from South island, it will take another 3-4 working days to arrive. No communication from them until i called them. Finally, i got a call from them and they said the car is ready. My staff went to pick the car and they said the total is now $1035. My staff asked them why and they said there are $20 storage fee since you left the car to us to replace the windscreen and its more than 10 days. My staff called me and told me about this and i called them and said you never contacted me about the increase in the price because the 1st windscreen was broken during delivery, and i was not prepared to pay for extra cost that i was not told, and they also never told me about the storage fee. I told them that i left the car to replace the windscreen the next day, and because your windscreen was broken and you ordered it somewhere else, you should not charge me the storage fee, it is not my problem at all, i was waiting for you guys to finish the job. After that, they said ok, they remove the storage fee, then they adjusted the invoice, and showed my staff the same amount of $1035 invoice. My staff asked them how come the amount is still the same, they said they have added the labour fee and shipping fee on top on the original replacement fee to make it up to $1035, so we still need to pay the same amount. I told them that i got a quote for $650 to replace the windscreen and this quote is inclusive of everything, but they seem to ignore it. I am taking them to the court for a justice now.

Went for a wof. They hoisted the car up and put the hoist points in the wrong spot and damaged the rails under my car. They definitely should not be in business.

Very unprofessional. Can't recommend this company. They should repair my cracked windscreen. First they had to plug in their drill into my car. Then they drilled two holes in the windscreen and the crack was bigger then before. They filled the hole with a special fluid but the cool down time was much to low, so the two holes are now clear visible. Haven't seen such bad work before.

Worst service ever. Still waiting for a new window for my work ute after 6 weeks despite the fact they rung up work said it was ready and got paid for it. These people are liars and cheats. DO NOT GO HERE.

Went to get my wing mirror replaced. I was not told that a flat mirror would be used, even though my car (along with modern cars) has convex mirrors which give a much wider view. The flat mirror is a bit warped, each eye gets a different image and it is hard to use.

Can't rate highly enough. I have been taking my car to AWAW for 3 years now. Work is always of a high standard. They are extra helpful and willing to go that extra mile. HONEST, reliable, I would not use another mechanic. They have a loan car too
