Autopaint Car Paint

Unfortunately the man on the phone was condescending when I was simply asking about how the process of colour matching works when I come in. Essentially he said "sorry I haven't got time for this right now I'm too busy - most people know what that means and I haven't got time to explain it. " Said in a condescending tone. How is that meant to make a customer feel? You are the experts and we are seeking advice and guidance as a customer. It made me feel stupid when I was just asking some clarifying questions. Called another shop on the north shore and they were super friendly and explained everything with care and patience.

Great team to deal with. Use Autopaint on central park drive for business related matters. We drive across town to have this team help us. Has been on point every time with any colour match we request whether it is from a wrap sample, car panel or just a paint code. Always recieve a professional service and knowledge. Highly recommend.

Went here to get some custom paint made up for my boyfriend and grab some sandpaper. The team are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they treated me with respect even though I had no idea what I was ordering. Would be more than happy to recommend auto autopaint car paint!

Don't bother here! Wont take phone orders wont do pant matching during the week didnt tell me that on the phone when i rang so after a drive across town i was told they so busy they did not have lunch last monday.come back satday.went to wairau paint center had two tins of paint in about 10 min. Thanks to them i was able to compleat my repars on the copany ute that day

I needed to match paint on the faded roof and bonnet of my Nissan Station wagon and the staff member went to a lot of trouble to match it perfectly - stepping outside to compare the colours several times and explained what else I needed and how to do it. Couldn't have been more helpful.

I went to this place on, I think, July 8 to ask about compressors and spray guns and other hardware I'd need to spray paint my engine bay in my VH Commodore.
The guy behind the counter was condescending, mocking and unpleasant to deal with.
I've since bought my "hardware" (a term he mocked) elsewhere, and my paint from a place in Penrose.
I'll have more work to do, but I won't be getting my supplies from this place.

At Autopaint, I met Jarden, one of its employees. He inspected my old Toyota Camry and offered excellent piece of advice. Rather than selling a whole list of automotive paints with fillers, he suggested what can be done and what not and I left the place without buying anything. Hard to see such individuals in business and excellent reference for DIYers.

Absolutely horrible service, trust me don't bother going. They work on their own schedule according to them, don't take orders rather chat than work, worst of all they tell you to come on a Saturday because they don't have time for a 15 min job on a weekday (that apparently takes 5 hours to work on) and they pull the same crap just like in the weekdays.

Why not go to other paint shops that is not only supply cheaper stuff than Autopaint, e.g Wairau paint center, Colourworks Paint Supplies and I find the best is Total Bodyshop Supplies (free shipping over $150) over the phone orders or online, vehicle colour matching and best of all, a 1 litre tin of ppg cost $170 cost $100 at Total Bodyshop.

If there is a no star option i would have rated it at that, don't visit this place at all, go to other bigger paint stores that offer better service than this place.
