Awa Nursery

This used to be our go to place for plants. We usually need bulk plants and the prices were great before. Recently they have put up the prices so high. It's pretty unreasonable and you can feel it the whole place. It was dead n empty

Shame they have ruined a great business like this

Bought a large tree as a gift and Nathan very generously offered to drop it off when it became obvious it would not fit in either of our cars, above and beyond service that will keep us coming back. Great looking tree too.

Wow, 2 days after our order was placed, the most healthy beautiful titoki arrived in Cambridge. Awa were so easy and accommodating to deal with, as was the delivery guy. Thank you Awa!

Great place, really good selection, pricing etc regardless of the windy wet conditions. It was very busy, the staff were bombarded with customers…this can only be a good thing,

Firstly, the selection is wonderful, the plants are healthy and the prices are ideal, so that works well. But the customer service was a bit strange. I was looking for a plant and asked where it was and was sort of met with a bit of a snooty reply from two of the women there. I also called and made a phone order and heard nothing back, so I guess they were busy. I’m a bit of a seasoned gardener so the place does the job for me and I don’t need much advice, but for anyone who needs a bit more attention and specialised customer service, probably not the place to come. Definitely will spend a lot more money here however.

Plants looked nice, however the staff were really unfriendly. As someone that doesn't know much about plants I was hoping for some guidance, however the staff did not want to provide this and were rude when asked questions.wouldn't recommend unless you already know everything you need to know about plants. Ended up buying plants for my garden elsewhere.

What a bad customer service!
Me and my husband phoned to you guys and someone call Kay had answered the phone. I would say she is hopeless. Very rude. I asked her to check the email I’ve sent she straight away said she has no access to emails. The other queries that I have asked she simply said to check on the website. Even though we should help local business during this hard time they seems like not interested at all.

Very disappointed about their customer service, phoned some body called Kay during the lockdown to buy some plants worth around $1000, but doesn’t seem like they are interested sell anything, very rude over the phone and do not waste you time with these guys.

Even if you’re NOT in the mood for ‘buying’ plants OR even if you’re NOT into gardens or gardening; TRUST ME.you’ll love AWA! I can NEVER help myself and every time we leave the car is full! Great prices great range great knowledge and GREAT SERVICE! And guess what? Great garden!

What a place! Everything and anything you need for plants. Great competitive prices with great advice and helpful staff to back it up. Well worth the drive.

I love this place! Huge variety of plants, all well taken care of, tidy, clean and big. I've been here twice for plants now, and it won't be my last time here. Always looking for natives to grow. Still got more plants I need to put in my garden ️ always a lovely site to visit!

I phoned to enquire about the availability of plants. Paid over the phone by credit card. Drove up to the nursery the following day and my beautiful plants were all there waiting in an accessible spot for me to load up and leave. A helpful staff woman assisted me.

Thank you Awa Nursery. It’s challenging having to cater to the general public who expect retail treatment but you still do it! Your prices are worth my travelling a long distance. I’ll be back.
