So far, I’m very pleased with the team at Barfoot & Thompson Property Management in Grey Lynn. Started the discussion mid June about finding long term tenants for my apartment and they’re all moved in by the first week of August (without me having to reduce my price at a time when the market was flooded with rental listings). Both Vlad and Piyush made the whole process extremely easy and stress free for me, which I really appreciated as I was not based in Auckland and had a lot going on. Any question I had was clarified promptly, any missing information was obtained from the bodycorp on my behalf and they took charge of organizing cleaning, meth and heathy home testings as well as the resulting heating installation for me. Nothing was too hard or too much for them, which gave me peace of mind. I would have given them five stars, but took one star off as I wasn’t 100% happy with the photographs taken for the listing (although that was probably more a reflection of the photographer’s work, I thought it was important to mention).

Piyush has been absolutely incredible during this experience going above and beyond to ensure everything is as professional and safe for both us tenants and Barfoot and Thompson. He communicates promptly and kindly. Really great.

Their rental listings and pictures were very accurate which isn't always the case on TradeMe. Piyush was incredibly helpful and understanding in helping me secure my first rental in New Zealand. My wife are I are very happy in our new home!

Piyush did an excellent job of keeping us informed about our property and did call me about any repairs which the property requires and prioritise the repair items. At the same time did a routine inspection of the property and send us the report. He was very helpful to get the quotation for the healthy home and get it done nicely and sent me the photos which can help us to increase the rental per week. Currently, the bathroom repair work quotation is going on and hope he will do a good job lie the healthy home work. Also, during the recent flooding time, he informed the tenants as well as the landlords. Excellent job!

I had a great experience dealing with Barfoot and Thompson Grey Lynn branch. Stress-free onboarding process with regards to filling forms and getting my house ready for photo shoot and listing for rent! The Property Manager that I dealt with, was amazing, communicating all the required steps and made it stress-free process for me. Worst property management ever. We signed an agreement for a house, gave notice on our own places, but when we went to pick up the keys they told us it had been rented to someone else! We tracked down the landlord who said he'd told B&T prior to our agreement that he was leaving them because they were so hopeless, and he'd rented it out through another agency. B&T couldn't care less about our situation that left us all homeless. AVOID.
