Applied for a rental on trade me.
Email wrote back to me, sorry out of all the applications you were not successful.
Checked trade me a week later.
Property still listed, with a rent decrease.

Just tell it how us it is.it's a straight no no.
No need to lie about other applications.
The place is still listed on trade me.

We dealt with a number of staff here and experienced a great deal of rudeness and ineptitude.

After leaving a rental property, we overpaid two weeks of rent (this is Auckland remember!) accidentally and tried to get it returned. Trying to get it back was exhausting and tiresome - even though they told us it was being kept in a trust. They took a ridiculous amount of time to get back to us, if they bothered at all.

Imagine if we had been over a month late paying our rent to Barfoot and Thompson.

Staff were rude on the phone to us, huffing and sighing loudly and being very impatient, when we wouldn’t have had to take up their time if they had just communicated properly in the first place.

Now, as homeowners, do you think we are likely to use Barfoot and Thompson for any services? Highly unlikely.

Helen Hobby has just helped me purchase a property and I would recommend her to anyone.
