Julia Wang is my property manager from Barfoot & Thompson Meadowbank and is doing a fantastic job managing my property for me. I live in Australia and so I have to rely heavily on the expertise and advice of Julia and she is always on top of everything. I highly recommend using her to manage your property.

Kristen is a very professional, friendly and effective agent. I found her very easy to deal with and she always kept me informed. Kristen is absolutely a dream to work with! Julia Wang was our property manager for about 2 years. She was very professional, friendly and we found her a great link between us and the landlord. Julia was a pleasure to deal with and I can highly recommend her services to landlords and tenants alike!

Prav Singh - dodgy! Does not screen tenants for rental properties. An unregulated industry- shouldn't be, NZ is not a third world country. Beware!

I’ve got the Property manager Kristen to appraise my house recently. This is my first time as landlord, so I don’t quite know what to expect. However, kristen was very detailed oriented, she walked me through the process of finding the right tenant and all the services involved with example of inspection reports, owner statements and market rent statistics. I have had other agents from different companies to appraise too.however I decided to go ahead with Kristen as she demonstrated a high level of service. I would highly recommend her service.

Few of my properties have been managed by property manager Kristen from Barfoot Meadowbank, she not only does 3 monthly inspection also make an effort to introduce herself to neighboring properties owners, so they can keep eye on my properties while my absence. One of my properties had trouble tenants when Kristen took over, due to her high level of care, we were able to identify the issue at early stages and release those tenants who were causing problem in the neighborhoods. She then quickly found me new tenants who has been great to deal with and remaining at the property for just over 2 years Now. I have recommend Kristen to my other investor friends who also speak highly of her.

We’ve used Barfoot and Thompson in the past and happened to use them again to rent a second time. It was super efficient and fast, unlike other agencies we had contact with. Kristen was fantastic to deal with. She’s been friendly and professional and catered to all our needs since moving in, often checking up on us to see how we are doing during the covid-19 pandemic.

Being an overseas investor, it’s important to have someone diligent to look after my property, and be my eyes and ears. My property manager Kristen always keep me informed with local legislation in timely manner as there have been a lot changes in recent years, for example the healthy home standards, being a B&T clients, their contractors had provided me two quotes on the jobs required at very competitive pricing. So I was able to be in the front of queue to have all the job done ahead of deadline. My tenants are very happy and have signed a 2 year fixed term because of it.

Very unprofessional staff Sean Lee. Reply was rude and late, and he even got my name wrong. Who is Has? How come you trust this person to sell/buy your properties? Don't you know it is your first priority to get your clients names right? Needless to say more as I'm wasting my time placing this feedback here.

Firstly, apologies B&T Epsom! As I accidentally left this review on your page initially, and they were very nice to deal with, saying that, the below still holds true for B&T Meadowbank

4 young proffesionals (inc. Myself) paid rent on time and passed every periodic inspection without issues. Then on time of leaving, we were treated horribly, we were told the house was in an unacceptable condition (after we had gotten it proffesionally cleaned), we then (that evening) all went back and re-cleaned the areas needing improvement. This, although annoying, was a reasonable request; however, multiple issues (stated below) combined with this, made the whole thing an arduous ordeal. We were also asked to remove all items from the house, where we had only left toilet paper and a couple of cleaning chemicals (which are common things to leave for new tenants moving in), following removing those, we were then asked to replace the oven scraper "which was the landlords"; We had thought that was given to us by one of my flatmate's parents and since being asked to throw everything out.we did throw it out. After advising the Property Manager of this, we were told to either "retrieve the scraper from the rubbish bin, replace it or it would be coming out of our bond". We had to then go to the supermarket and replace a ~$6 scraper. We were then further held up waiting for our bond, as we hadn't paid water (it was a complex and we and we had not paid water the entire year), after a few emails back and forward questioning the water bill, we were then advised "O right, yes, you don't pay water". The whole thing was an absolute fiasco and in our opinion, completely unreasonable. Furthermore, each email we recieved became more and more unfriendly/hostile and we were never all cc'd into any one email, even after asking (which is common email etiquette). The property mangers who handled this, in all due respect, could not organise a "party" in a brewery and did not (in our opinion) carry-out their job in a proffesional and well 'managed' manner. We are all intending on purchasing our first home in the near future and because of this, I will not be using Barfoot & Thompson for any future property endeavours.
