We are currently renting a two year old townhouse managed by B&T St Heliers. Today is the third time I have contacted them in regards to maintenance that needs to be done in an attempt to look after the property for the owners. The most import of which is a slate facade that has come loose and fallen onto one of my children. As property owners in other cities i would be concerned if my asset was being managed by this branch.

Kelly Midwood from Barfoot and Thompson St Heliers is the worst Estate Agent we have ever dealt with. We have been trying to buy a property that she is the registered agent for and she has been arrogant and unprofessional in dealing with us. She has asked no questions to find out our position or what we are after. She has not consulted with us to find out our price bracket and lacks negotiation and closing skills.

Unfortunately the manager of the branch, David, was also extremely unprofessional in trying to resolve the situation. He told my wife she had "bad negotiation skills" because we offered below the asking price and we were waiting for them to come back with the Vendor's position but they refused to discuss any other offers. It's a shame considering the property failed at Auction 3 weeks prior and it is a lovely property but valued too high.

I would highly recommend shopping around before using Kelly or Barfoot and Thompson St Heliers.
