15 Great overall experience. We decided to list our home relatively last minute coming into Xmas and had a fair amount of work to get through at short notice.
Nik was quick to get involved and helped us formulate a plan, promptly set up the communication lines and was proactive in every area that we discussed and direction we wanted to take.
Nik was great with communication even after hours and ran open homes right through the holidays. Totally reccommend

Good service at the start, not the best, but will try to rob you with fake receipts and crazy reasons to get money out of your bond in the end. Jacqui the property manager overcharged us of cleaning fee. Then I asked them of the real invoices fron the service provider but they are unable to provide me. Totally faked the invoices. When they were unable to provide the real invoice, I said I will take it to tribunal, then they waived the cleaning invoice. Crazy! They can really make up invoices. Don't be fooled with this team.
Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had renting through this crowd. Initially tried to pin previous damages to the property on me I'm just lucky I had taken pictures when I moved in. With high staff turnover (3 different property managers during my 2 and a half year tenancy there) the morale is low and cracks show in their team. The property manager Jacqui allowed the landlords dad to be on the property during inspections in which he was rude and even brought a video camera and filmed illegally. Final inspection done by Jacqui was pathetic and took over 2 hours and the actual bond refund itself took almost 2 months! This took several follow-ups on my end to get done and shows how inadequate her and her team are. The only property manager who was decent to deal with was Lorraine who was a temp to cover Jacqui as she alledgedly was not looking after the property anymore which was a lie but shows she was incapable of delivering in her role.
If you want a good experience renting and want to feel comfortable and welcome in your home with a team who support you as a tenant I would highly recommend avoiding Barfoot and Thompson Whangaparaoa as they are inadequate, decieptful and truly fail to provide and deliver the most basic of services.
Would give no stars but 1 is the lowest it will allow me, I'm sorry but you folks are an absolute joke!
Jules Romminger and Debbie Donovan were an absolute pleasure to deal with from the initial meeting, where they were heads above the competition, to the celebration upon the sale of my mother's house, one month later. They were highly professional, helpful, sensitive to the nature of the emotional attachment of selling, however most of all, a delight to be around. They won us over every step of the way with all their 'little touches' along the way. Both my mother and I highly recommend them both to anyone looking at selling their house, and having it be pleasureable from start to finish. Thanks Jules and Debbie - job well done and then some!
