This Panelbeaters was recommended to me & I wish I went literally anywhere else. The end product looks fine however, a process that was expected to take a month took almost three due to barnetts firstly neglecting to communicate with my insurance company in a reasonable time frame. When it came to booking in repairs I wasn’t given any option of suitable days as per my schedule I was just expected to adjust my life to their expectations, 3 weeks later when I was due to drop the car off I called and ask to push it back a few days due to work commitments & I was told no as it was inconvenient to their schedule, I had to cancel my job for that week & abide by the Panelbeaters expectations. I then asked when the car would be ready, I was told the end of the following week, it wasn’t ready by then. Instead the week after, I said nothing regarding the late repair as I expected them to not run to time. When I asked to pick up on Tuesday of the following week due to again having work commitments which meant I couldn’t get to Albany by 4.30, I was told “absolutely not, you must pick it up TODAY or I will be charging you $30 a day for storage”. I asked where the contract was that was signed by me enabling them to charge me for storage, there was none. There was then messages back and forward where the tone from barnetts was condescending and demonstrated absolutely no respect for me being a human being with work commitments or frankly anything to do other than wait for them, I remind him that I tried changing the drop off day because of this and was told no etc. Payment was then demanded immediately online, I paid it via direct deposit and asked for the car to be placed roadside that night as I had to arrange someone else to pick it up, when they drove passed that night the car was locked behind a fence. Barnetts then told me it was my fault it wasn’t road side, pretty sure they’re the ones with the key and the ability to move the car at this point. Finally I was able to pick up the car the following day after having to cancel a job for that day given the person who offered to pick it up wasn’t willing to drive by again only to find the car locked away. I also have had to contact my insurance again for repairs given the car is not driving well at all, which they suggested is due to a proper assessment not being done on the car after the initial crash.

Fantastic customer service, they fixed my van really quickly and the price was very reasonable. John (the owner i believe) was really helpful, and I've recommended Barnett Panelbeaters to my friends. Thanks

I have used Barnetts twice now. Both times the work was done well, quickly and efficiently. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and do an amazing job. Would highly recommend them to you.

Very bad experience! Inefficient, rough work, the car was repaired a week, but the warning lights were not cleaned. Not the best garage in the community, not recommended.

John is a great guy and always goes the extra mile to help. On the other hand, his workers im not so impressed with. They disconnected my sub to get to the spare wheel and left some wires disconnected. They damaged the corner of my subwoofer. My steeing wheel, handbrake and gear leaver was sticky and dirty.

Sent in my Integra after a collision and the guys did a perfect job on it. Car is like brand new. Turnaround time is amazing. Colour matching and paint job is perfect. Service was excellent, very friendly and dedicated people. They seem to know and love what they are doing.

A very good rate, quotes from some other panelbeaters were over three times the rate given at Barnett's. An excellent job, and they even washed my vehicle after they were done. Highly recommended.

Really nice guys, went to see them for a bumper repair and had all the different options discussed with me. The mechanic even reattached my bumper so it wasn't likely to come off. It would have been excellent had they not emailed me the quote they said they would.

The old guy is nice and no bullshit quotes. They have a systemic way of quoting you and does a pretty good job at panel beating. It's hard to compare to all the places around North Shore, but by far the best in Albany. Cheers mate.
