Beautiful location at the highest point on the island. Great views of Auckland across the bay. Nice hiking trails right out the door. Friendly staff and wonderful wine tasting.

Great setting and wine tasting experience. Alexis was very knowledgeable and very accommodating with our group. He took the time to explain each wine to us and we didn't feel rushed. If you book your wine tasting experience there, ask for Alexis by name! He'll look after you!

Great balance between casual and sophisticated. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, heaps of plush cushions and accent lighting. There’s also a fireplace so ideal place during winter for a glass of wine and chocolatey dessert.
The women who served us was fantastic and even though we just ordered drinks we were still made to feel very welcome.
Great experience

Had a wonderful tour with Alexis on Saturday. He is passionate about wines and answered all our questions. Best wine tasting we had on the island and better value than others. Will be back.

Amazing location and beautiful grounds. The wine tasting was free and had quite a good selection.

Awesome setting however had really poor food experience this time (used to be my favourite place on waiheke). $48 for the High Tea that came with supermarket take ‘plastic’ cheese. Something has gone horribly wrong, hope they can get back on track.

Absolutely stunning winery, top of the hill, super organised and friendly staff, and stunning food!

Stunning views of Waiheke and the mainland. Great location to enjoy a wine outdoors on the grass. Food and service were excellent. The dessert, pavlova, was the largest single serve I've had. Delicious. Highly recommend.

Visited as part of a winery tour. Wine tasting was interesting, although none of them were particularly to my taste. Lovely views but the food was very disappointing! Had the high tea (which didn't contain tea or any cakes), and had an odd mix of food which wasn't very good value or delicious. I probably only ate about half of it, which is unheard of for me!

This place has seriously changed my view on fine dining the food had such little portions for what i paid for and the food came with little flavor.

We came for the wine tasting, we really enjoyed it and walked away with a bottle of Rose, but would say it’s the more expensive tasting on the island when you compare experiences.

We did a wine tasting here and I have to say it was my favourite out of all the vineyards we had been to on Waiheke Island.

The guy was very informative and he interacted with us. He was very friendly and welcoming. Their red wines were the best we bought 3 bottles. Beautiful restaurant also and the views are amazing.

Very underwhelming. For the price you expect exceptional food. Tough sirloin with what tasted like chimichurri out of a bottle and nothing else. Very small duck leg also left my wife hungry. Fortunately the oysters where good but you should not be able to stuff up natural oysters.
Would recommend you try much better, less expensive restaurants

Changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars after 2 years since I last visited. So thought I’d revist to see if anything had changed. So much better now

Worth the drive out. Spectacular views on a clear day. Easy to find and spacious parking
Friendly and helpful staff from beginning to end
Awesome cocktails (particularly the Raspberry Martini for the sweet palette) but pricey
Delicious food that’s cooked well (steak and lamb) but you need to order sides separately =
Fresh oysters
Chocolate lava cake for chocolate lovers is amazing. Probably prefer vanilla ice cream over cream but that my preference.
A variety of indoor/ outdoor settings to choose from
Local deal of 10% off meal/drinks
Highly recommended. Will definitely go at least once a month or for special occasions

Can be pricey but most places on Waiheke are about the same. Spoil yourself!

Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Popped in for the jazz festival today, R. J really stood out to me with his food knowledge and how easy going he was with everything, definitely looked sharp, I like my jewellery like him, he had a great looking chain he was wearing!

As this was my first time at Batch, I did not know what to expect of both the food, drinks, and how everything would be presented. My anxieties and worries however, dissappeared the moment I saw R J heading towards me. Dressed in a pristine black chefs outfit and shining gold necklace, as soon as I saw this man, I knew he had perfected his craft. His extensive knowledge of the food, and way with words, helped me relax and enjoy the event to the fullest. 10 out of 10 to both Batch, and R J.
