Nice place for Chinese comfort food. Free soup and Chinese tea given for lunch. Enjoyed myself and good value

The chinese BBQ dishes here are one of the better ones in CBD.

The portion of meat which seems to have reduced during my recent visits can hopefully be improved.

One of the nicer BBQ pork and Roast duck rice. Free soup and Chinese tea. Good bright atmosphere and friendly boss. Would be better if the chilli sauce had more ingredients in it rather than the oil. Always patronise when in Auckland.

The food is served quickly, the soup is light and delicious, and the pork belly with tofu and rice is great!

The beef brisket was tender but on the fatty side for me and rice is not fluffy
They do give a complimentary bowl of broth which is delicious and light.

Lots of options however most meals have excessive amounts of onions. Everyone in the group did enjoy their meals.

Authentic HK style bbq pork restaurant. Free soup if you dine in. Portion is big. Definitely worth trying if you are in town. The service is good too.

Located on a little lane but easy to find. First sight like a Hong Kong restaurant, while the food is also typically good, comforting my stomach well.

A nice Chinese restaurant close to our hotel. The restaurant has open clean see through kitchen. They specialize in Chinese bbq. The price was very reasonable and the meal come with free hot tea and soup.
I saw the laksa on the menu and had to try it. I had the roast duck laksa. They gave like almost half a duck in the laksa. The duck was juicy, savory and flavorful. My brother had the 3 meat bbq plate with rice. The pork was savory. The charsui with just the right amount of sweetness.
If you are in this part of the world make sure to stop by and try this place.

Peking duck was pretty good, definitely good value for money. Great service and clean restaurant, but bathrooms were pretty dark and dirty.

Had the Roast Pork & Duck for lunch = $21.80.
Average overall, though the Pork was nicely cooked.
There was a bug in my complimentary soup- was quickly replaced with a new one.
Good Service.

Hard to beat the sweet and sour pork. The beans and mince pork, salt and pepper pork and crispy pork all good. Sizzling beef is amazing too.

Still the best in 2023!

I have been dining here for two weeks straight due to business in the cbd every night and I am never disappointed! Amazing food and great customer service. Going back tonight lol.

Really good customer service and Chinese food! Recommend it! They provide free Chinese tea and Chinese soup (tastes like chicken soup and it had pear in it) before the food is served. Everything was delicious!

Lovely friendly place with free home made soup starter, no alcohol but I believe you can bring your own, good choice of food and very popular with locals

5 stars. This place is a dying breed of old Cantonese cuisine. Great tasting food, wok hei, and the servings sizes are generous. Rare to see this in a capital cities CBD. As a Cantonese that eats Cantonese food daily - this place is legit and great. Must try!

This is my favourite place for chinese food, I drive into the city and pay for parking just to eat here! My go to is the BBQ Pork, some rice and chicken fried noodles. Very generous portions and great service!

Always busy, always noisy, always something going on. Delicious food served by happy wait staff, every time. Get in there and get some in you.

Reminds me of my mum's cooking from years ago. Steamed chicken and mushroon, and a bowl of soup. Worth my trip from Welly! Staff are nice, the lady recognized me from day before!
