Best Ugly Bagels

The bagels themselves and the toppings are *chefs kiss*. I always get The White Rabbit, which this time was no different and it was phenomenal as always. However, I also tried a simple Swiss Cheese w/ Marmite and the server suggested a Jalapeño bagel.holy moly. I’m going to have to buy a bag of those

Best bagel shop I have ever been to. Classic New York style and if you go inside you can see them making it. Totally worth it for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I have a takeaway order weekly and is usually a very consistent experience but today not so. Bagels weren't even to toasted. Seems that the toppings were lumped on, then melted, then handed them to me. Stodgy, limp and super soft. How the heck do you forget to toast a bagel? ! Coffee like dishwater too, don't order a Long Black. All they'll give you is an Americano. My wallet was $29.30 lighter for my troubles and post this experience I will certainly not return.

Wow - My yodi (pastrami with cheese, mustard and pickel) was superb! Freshly made bagels and great toppings. Easily the best bagel experience I've had and great service. They are expensive and I was feeling like I could have eaten another one, so it would not be an "everyday" bagel.

Incredible nice folks, love the place, not a follower of hype, but this one is not media just great people and food, would rate them higher if possible, exceed expectations every time.

Friendly service and yummy bagels! Prices are on a premium side but still delicious. Would love to come with some chips or something. I would come back to buy just plain fresh bagel if I could.

Very good place to grab a quick bite before work would definitely come again though there might be a wait sometimes.

Used the UB in Newmarket for a conference lunch at work. It was great to get out of the office for a quick turnaround lunch that was tasty, bustling and interesting. I ordered the bagels prior and they arrived at the table spot on time. Excellent. Super friendly staff as usual and everyone was fresh for an afternoon session.

Best Ugly is close to the bus stop for Takapuna. I got some bagels and coffee on the way to Takapuna Sunday market. That would be good start for sweet Sunday morning. Anyway salmon and cheese bagle, that's what I used to order every Sunday. Tasty bagles and enough amount. Also staff is very very nice. When we orderd, casher tell them my order to other staff with big voice. That was kind of like Japanese Izakaya or something. Best beautiful bagles are waiting for you. Go get em!

This place is makes some tasty bagels. Every bagel I tried was enjoyable. And the spreads are generously applied. I had a ball of avocado spread under my bagels.

Can’t beat a Montreal style bagel. These are turned out fresh every day and made with the best local ingredients and it shows.

Honestly the product may be fine for what it is, but if you are used to NYC bagels and generally American boiled bagels, this is not what you are looking for. These bagels are baked, so it will not be very similar to what you are expecting
