Had a yummy dinner here tonight. There was a bit of a hiccup with my gift card not working, but Vishal was very patient and got it all sorted out for me. Very appreciative.

We were served by Cande. She was very welcoming and kind while our meals were going. Their foods and services were all good and my children especially enjoyed their meals. We will come back there again. Thank you!

Vishal was great help, and so friendly as well, we love the food as well, my dogs had great time as well

Had an excellent lunch with the family at Bird on a wire in Ponsonby Grand Central. Team member Candelaria was very helpful in explaining their new ordering system and always has a smile when approaching customers.

After rudely being told to wait by the cashier, my order was eventually taken by the chef. I ordered the "buttermilk fried chicken with slaw and chips" which was well below expectations at $25. Slaw was clearly budget bulk coleslaw, dry and tasteless, with almost no dressing. The chicken resembled frozen food from the supermarket and was also dry and tasteless. Chips were nice. Service staff were also nice. Good vibes, decor and location, but only ate it cause I was hungry and couldn't afford to by something else.

Politely asked if we could eat inside instead of take away since it wasn't busy and was met with an eye roll and completely unnecessary rude comment by a staff member

Korean chicken with slaw and chips (26) and Sprite (5). Overall food was fine. Chicken inside was a bit dry but the sauce made it. Chips were cooked well. Slaw was amazing. Good portion size for price. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because of the sprite. You get it in a glass and I believe is from the tap which makes it taste flat and watered down. Good service though wait time was around 30-40 minutes long on a Thursday lunch.

Really good tasty! The food is so good and staff are very friendly. Definitely will be regular all the time

18/02/2023 around 18: 00 there was no one seated in the dining area.

The layout is very different has the kitchen, then walkway to store toilets then open dining area, this walkway this very busy, and it's quite open to onlookers into dining area there is no privacy, needs a glass/plant/brick wall border around dining area as i was holding my bag thinking someone could reach over and snatch it.

Apart from that RJ's Customer Service was great we got ushered to our table, ordered meals even got suggestions, service was on point, meals were delicious.

The only fault was that there was no dining privacy from walkway onlookers.

Nice chicken schnitzel, coleslaw lacked dressing, chips good, gravy serving could be slightly bigger - would I be back? No probably not.

I ordered my usual favorite dish (Bird on waffle) in Bird on Wire Ponsonby. But this time I was surprisingly disappointed! Chicken was way less compared with last time, also bit dry as well! And the worse part of my meal was the cup of my Cappuccino coffee! My coffee had a weird taste so bitter! I almost couldn't finished my coffee! If you put your food prices up, please serve your customers better food and drink! Otherwise they may not coming back.

Ridiculous. They didn't even come to meet us we had to approach them before we ordered. Then after ordering they say we can't bring food from another place. Then lastly the food took 20 minutes and it was only 4 tiny chicken chops.for $19! What a joke. Never going again sorry

Warning Will Robinson warning! Do not bother with this place. Their Eggs your way turns up with some of the cheapest white bread I’ve ever seen! I’ve had way better in Papakura at half the price: (

I come here quite often for their roasted chicken; although they have other items on the menu, their roast chicken is as good as it gets. However this time, I came to try their Buffalo Chicken Burger with Blue Cheese Mayo.

The chicken is fried with a spicy buffalo sauce and mayo. The chips are nice and fresh. As an Asian who loves his food spicy, i thought it was a tad too spicy. But otherwise, one of the best chicken burgers around although the price is a bit high for it.

Fast service, delishous vege eggs benne kids loved the chicken & waffles? This is our new favorite breakfast stop when visiting Auckland.

Expensive and disappointing. The food looked good but the burger was tasteless. After a couple of bites, I figured that the odd taste was coming from the kimchi. I love kimchi but I thought the kimchi was not used properly in this dish. Chicken was really bland and had no crunch to it. I was looking for the gochujang taste but just couldn't taste it. The chips were good though. Properly seasoned. The rhubarb for the cheesecake was good but the cheesecake itself was average.

Disappointed to pay $19 for a salad that was plain pre made slaw with some chicken in top. Very plain and dry

Amazing customer service very delicious food I have always had very good experience with this place and I keep going every day I recommend to everyone to try their food and coffee ️ their coffee is my most favorite
