The clinic is in a good location with enough parking spaces for patients, which many clinics don’t have. Dr Steve Sohn was very professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

Reception was so kind every visit, and my GP is always attentitive and kind. I would definately recomend this hospital to others.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Sohn and we are extremely happy and thankful for his service. Particularly when my 7 month old was down with covid Dr Sohn was able to make time for us on short notice to attend to him for urgent care. Nurses at the clinic have also been friendly and caring during his routine immunisations. Overall would highly recommend Dr Sohn and the clinic.

Absolutely terrible service and overpriced. Asked the GP to refer me for a labtest to test for an infection based on advice from my midwife but the doctor refused. Still in pain days later I called back and spoke to the nurse who said they will speak to the doctor but they could refuse the referral. I couldn’t believe a simple referral for a labtest would be so difficult to obtain. I got the referral and guess what, I did have an infection! Stupid doctor could’ve just done it in the first place instead of leaving me in pain for another week. Paid $71 for an incompetent doctor. Don’t go there.

I was with this practise for a number of years and had the same GP who was awesome. He retired and I was assigned to another GP who has been at the practise for a number of years. Unfortunately I found my new GP to be dismissive, argumentative and bordering on being unapproachable. The Reception team were always friendly, helpful, smiling and professional.

I decided to leave this practice after about 7 years.
I was advised by my GP to get a scan to support a referral - I had the scan the next day as the GP wanted to get it done quickly. Heard nothing for weeks, I then asked Birkenhead Medical Centre if they had the results and subsequently found out the Imaging company had faxed the results on the same day to Birkenhead Medical Centre and the GP has left without doing any referral. All in all a waste of $700 for the scan, which they quoted as about 3 to 400. Got no apology at all from Birkenhead Medical Centre.

I wouldn't recommend anyone use this Practice unless you're happy to follow everything up to make sure it gets done.

Unfortunately, having read the many negative reviews about this practice, i would have to agree.it seems like they are more interested in your MONEY than your problem.the reception staff are rude, un-empathetic, it is a "churn you in, churn you out type of practice. Twice i have been told before my issues have been addressed. "sorry, your 15 measly minutes are nearly up, you will have to re-book ". What the hay! I have never had ONE of the doctors actually look me in the eye and listen.they just sit and type into their computer making notes.not actually LISTENING to my issues. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE. I will be requesting my notes to be transferred once i find a DECENT doctor.

I personally decided to not go to this medicl centre and transfere to other one, unfortunatelly I could not see and feel the professional communication skills from the doctor, she did not care and investigate enough about my complain and tried to push me as fast as she could. Also, the receptionist is not efficient enough to the level that she did not check wether there is CSC or not, her main focus on charging without checking. I dont recommend it at all. The one star is for the Pharmacist only.

Great med centre; very helpful to our daughter and son-in-law for urgent covid test for travel when there was travel disruption. Staff went the extra mile to help.

Please do not go to this place.didnt really like the doctor rather than sorting you out and sorting ur doubts.she was interested in typing a script and sending me off.

Felt soo pathetic after going here.she was hurrying things up rather tha fully checking... Just the worst doctor ever I must say.she didnt even bother to hv a look at the problem properly.didnt even bother to introduce herselflf.felt as if I am in front of the nurse.dont know why such frustated people are practicing medicine.

I am not sure if writting the name of that person is appropriate here.but she is a kiwi lady not Asian.

While I like my GP and he does a fantastic job I found that some of the support staff to be pretty rude sadly.

Grossly overpriced for a 15 minute consultation, the GP's show 0 empathy and were not helpful. The front desk staff are rude and inconsiderate. Would give 0 stars if it allowed. DO NOT recommend.

They don’t have good doctors, they didn’t fix my problem since 5 month I am stil struggling with pain. Waste of my money and time

Happy with the service. Receptionist are always friendly and helpful. Nurses are great too. Even though I am always connected to answering machine when trying to reach the nurse, but they always call back within an hour or so, so no problem with that. And for the GP, I have great experience with Dr. Lum, who is always so patient and thorough when examining. Great experience so far.

Really disappointed. Had a phone appointment about a month ago and the doctor to me he would refer me to a specialist at the hospital. In the meantime my symptoms have gotten worse and I've been checking my letterbox assuming I'll get a referral letter to the hospital. I called the nurse last week and she informed me the doc hadn't written anything about a referral in my notes and that I should come book an appointment to see another doctor. Neglectful service, i am considering a new medical centre.

Nice friendly staffs, nurses and doctors BUT when you try to request something through the phone and the receptionists pass the line on to the nurse, it is impossible to reach them.when you hold the line, goes straight into answering machine after 5seconds of holding the line.same thing when you call back and same thing when you're in luck and actually reach the nurse and the nurse asks you to HOLD THE LINE AND 5 SECS LATER GOES TO ANSWERING MACHINE.then you have to repeat the process over and over again.

Poor service. Receptionists are always in the foulest mood. Never ever helpful. Nurses seem to be the only lively employees.

The look of distaste and judgement is so obvious. The clinic manager Jo is always so helpful so its a shame the staff don't follow suit.

Happy I have left from the clinic I should have done it when my original Dr retired years ago. Wouldn't rate it a one star but need to in order to leave a review.
