Booked for a table of 6. We were greeted by amazing staff. Delicious food and a great evening to be there. One of the best we have come across in a while. We look forward to be visiting more often.

Had a great experience of celebrating birthday of my sister. Wonderful owners and staff. Great hospitality. Perfect evening for family and friends. I will request everyone to visit the place for homely and fresh food. Thanks staff.

One of our go to’s for family dinners. Service is amazing, the staff are always accommodating. The food is great hence the repeat number of visits. Atmosphere is loud and good for drowning out the kids being noisy lol Prices and Serving size are spot on.

Perfect place to catch up with friends or colleagues. If you looking around West Auckland highly recommend this place. Staff and Service is #1

We went to this pub for drinks, nibbles, and the weekly trivia competition. The bar was packed, with very loud and lively music. We ordered our drinks and food and settled in for the trivia game. While we enjoyed playing the game (and ended up winning 2nd place), it was annoying that the music was so loud, it was difficult to hear the questions. Other than that, we had a good time. The food and drinks were good and everyone had fun. Would 100% return to this pub.

Went for a birthday. Had the stone grill. Terrible. Small cuts of cheap meat. The sautéed veges were raw and barely sautéed. The mushroom sauce was gravy. My husband got the chicken which was about the size of a tender and his red wine jus was beef stock and a touch of red wine thickened up.

For the price, I'd expect something better.

Herb crusted chicken slaw and mash was perfect, vege pot pie queen thoroughly enjoyed rounded off with tasty beverages on a quiet thoroughly enjoyable. Expectations of food was thoroughly satisfied, thank you keep up the high standard. Bravo.

I haven't been to this place for quite a while but it's been around for a long time and it continues to get stronger a lot of people use this place cocktails are good and they have live music it's really handy for anybody that lives close and public transport is just down the road it's quite a good relaxing atmosphere of laid back sophisticatedness

I had my daughter’s birthday party here and we had a bar tab for $1000 as organised with the event manager Jyoti but she didn’t tell us that the Bar Tab has gone way above the fixed agreement and charged us 3 times more than the agreed amount for drinks. Horrible Horrible experience. Event manager wouldn’t tell you about all the costs involved, you have to proactively asked her for each every detail. I do not suggest to organise a birthday party here unless you are ready to pay a very heavy bill.

Love coming here, I got sharing platter for $55 with my partner, was very filling, squid, fish bites, fried chicken etc

Went to black Salt on a Saturday arvo, vibes were good on a nice sunny day.

I ordered the fish and chips - a Staple kiwi favourite.

Chips were solid and nicely smashed down.
The fish was not my favourite for sure as it did not suit my palette.
The salad was filler - tough to eat

The musician playing guitar was great playing some old Kiwi favorites but it's a shame the Trusts monopoly prevents places like this from staying open later.

Fries cold and under cooked in cold Oil.replaced and still the same. Calamari salad well over cooked iin cold oil and not a salad.fish and chips.yuk in a basket.no seasoning.

Went there yesterday for evening drinks. Excellent service and Ed (if that's his name) the singer is so good. Highly recommend this place, good atmosphere too

Had my 21st Birthday party here on January 29th and honestly had the best night. The Bartenders were amazing. They provided exceptional service. The drinks they made were also amazing. The food! Mwah! Beautiful cheers Black Salt. Will be back for more one day! Every single staff that served us that night were amazing. They were so nice and had provided the best costumer service I’ve had in a restaurant. And to the young waitress who accidentally spilled one of the drinks, good on you for staying calm and collected and reacting instantly. I hope you know you did just as good as a job as everyone else that night. And to my friend at the bar, my apologies forgot your name. Thank you for all the tasty drinks you made that night

Over priced. The burger was watery/soggy, chips were definitely sitting for a while before served.not worth $17

Attended a social gathering here for the first time. The venue was good and COVID protocol adhered to. A comfortable hosting hall. Fresh, tasty snacks and food backed by efficient and friendly staff. The lady bartender was very professional courteous and efficient
Will definately consider hosting in this venue, if an opportunity presents its-self

Good space, staff was awesome - nice environment. Well presented people and hall, definitely place to hold your parties and other family events.
