7 After the flash flooding and the cyclone, it’s safe to say I was desperate for help to have some earthworks done at our back lawn to redirect water away from the pool.
I’ve rang many companies but everyone’s already inundated with work post cyclone.
Dean’s company was no exception but because he sensed the desperation on my tone, he came as soon as he was able to and he put me at ease and gave me the most practical solution. He promised he will have it sorted asap. And within a week, his boys turned up with the digger. He kept his promise.
What a reliable team. I’m so grateful and no more anxiety.

Dean and the team at Blake Civil are awesome. Dean was super quick to communicate and answer all my questions. The crew got the earthworks done in record time and we are super happy with the retaining wall. Great company and would highly recommend.
We used Dean Blake to rectify two large ponds that no longer held water. We used bentonite which he sourced and he removed all the debris first, Re-sculpted the edges, laid the bentonite, obtained additional clay and laid/compacted. All his personnel were helpful and polite. I would not hesitate to recommend this local company. Excellent value for work done

We contracted Blake Civil to undertake significant retaining, fill and drainage work. Dean, Reuben and their team did a fantastic job, on time and at a great price point.
