Very lovely pina coladas, very unique selection of meals and desserts, but one thing that tops it all is the super friendly staff. If you're looking for a nice place to eat with family, friends or your date, definitely recommend this place.

BLITZA is one of my favorite Pizza restaurants. I have moved out of the district now, but still love coming back for a catch up with Lee and staff. We always enjoy a delicious and it's a great place to dine out with family and friends.

Incredible food, genuine kiwi style service, little compact returant that feels warm and inviting. Loved the seafood dishes and the time spent with my soul mate at Blitza.

Pros:
The beef eye pizza tasted really good
The place has nice vibes
Staff are helpful and friendly
It is a BYO wine

Cons:
The cranberry chicken pizza was quite mediocre
The pizzas are much smaller than they look in the photos (and 6 slices)
For their price there are definitely better Italian restaurants in Auckland
Also the cocktails are much more expensive than average

We had a great time dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere and service was fantastic. However the food we had wasn't as tasty as we had expected and we were disappointed by the high cost of drinks.

I am not sure if it is BYO, if it is then I think it would be much better value because the cost of drinks make it an expensive dinner option.

Very good food, nice portions, perfect temperature, a little bit too much salt the first time I went, and not enough salt the second time (which can be corrected on the plate, so not as bad). Service was good, but not particularly friendly or warm.

Food was pretty good - pizza pasta entrees. GREAT atmosphere and amazing waiters/waitresses. I hope they are paid well over minimum wage for the word they put in. Drinks could be cheaper.

Prawn pizza and the prawn fettuccini. Awesome, taste like it did 3 years ago when I was here. Cheers lads

Blitza wow! Friendly and efficient service recommended by family locals in the area and did not disappoint. We had moussaka and galliano chicken delicious was so full but just had to try the dessert and was sooo good! Will definitely come back and work our way through the menu ️ Thanks Blitza 10/10

Went to Blitza for dinner last night with a party of 9.
Food was really delicious and service by the team was great.
We were actually allowing for the risk of them being light staffed, post covid etc but they were awesome and attentive to everyone which was amazing.
Cant speak highly enough about how all of them assisted whenever we needed them. (was really good to not just have to wait on one specific person to serve)
The place was busy and even with their regular takeaway customers coming through they were pumping out the food and it was delicious.
I had the Chicken Cannelloni and i cant wait to have it again.
Will definitely be back and just want to thank the team for doing a great job!

Soo good. I would recommend booking a table as we had to wait quite a while having not booked, but the service was great and the food was phenomenal!

Cozy restaurant, with dim/mood lighting, bar with cocktails. Price wise $$$
Unfortunately none of us will be returning.
The staff were very nice and our table was ready at the correct time. Drinks and starters came out fast but mains took a fairly long time, we were served dinner as a whole which was nice.
Reason for such a low review - The food.
Extremely salty! It wasn't just mine, 6/8 people at our table felt like the salt was mounded into the food. Staff did not come back to check food.we struggled on. I decided to mentioned the salt level upon payment, which resulted in a "ahh ok sorry about that". I personally feel like it was dismissive and not actioned with the chef. Could be wrong, so unfortunate as this place has potential.

A great family restaurant in Birkenhead, this place has been in Birkenhead for ever and has really stood the test of time.
