The food was outstanding even the entrees were scrumptious! Full of flavor and the meat was so tender. Thank you so much to the workers who were so patient with me and my friends delivering excellent customer service! My friend was given a free desert for her birthday which was gracious<3 Thank you for a memorable night! Highly recommend!

Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant is a must-visit spot in Auckland City for vegans and vegetarians looking for delicious Thai food. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home, and the menu offered a variety of vegan/vegetarian options.

We were declined entry into the restaurant tonight. I was with a friend who is Blind and he had his Guide Dog. Service dogs are allowed to enter restaurants, unfortunately the owner
didn’t make an effort to understand this. Disappointed.

The setting was beautiful, cosy and though the communication was pleasant and we ordered our menu and waited awhile as a busy period we acknowledged but few dishes came to our table thankfully we did not touch, as we waited for the other plates to arrive then told these were not ours. Luckily we did not touch but there should be a check on order before it served on the table. The plate of fish menu we ordered was surprised the bottom flesh missing as it's 1/2 the fish they serving. Would be nice if they explained when ordering. After dinner we waited to pay our bill but the manager in charge pity her running between tables and kitchen to serve so we waited again patiently to pay. And the washroom is few meters away shared with other business house patrons close by and not hygienic at all, pity that.

Let me start with probably the most important part: the food was delicious and it arrived quite quickly. I had stir fry and a soup. I especially appreciated that it was possible to have a stir fry without rice and a small soup portion.

The service was problematic. The communication was not fluent, we waited quite a bit to pay when the waiters practically ignored us, some of our drink orders was mixed.

Great place. Was traveling to Auckland and was craving some Thai food, this place was all I needed. Ordered vegetarian Tom kha, pad Thai and Basil and chilli main course.
Especially loved the soup and pad Thai. Highly recommended!

Loved the food here. Do try Pad Thai Noodles and Thai Fried rice. You have choice of meat. I chose chicken. And to top it up they also serve a great apple cider beer.

Australian visitors took us there as its reputation has cross the Tasman. I understand why. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. We have already booked for a return visit.

We were a large group and last min but service was really slow, plus food was a little salty and dry

I believe this food is overpriced. Entree was great. Mains were bit of a hit and a miss. Green curry was very watery. Bamboo shoot in Green curry was a bit smelly. Peanut Lovers had a watery sauce. Overpriced items.

Poor management, no smile on face. The manager was rude and make us feel unwanted. Booked the table in advance but had to wait 20 minutes. Only one server and Lady Manager hide behind the bar. Got our mains but no plates and cutlery. Even had to ask for water. One star for food. I will never return to this place.

Fantastic meal last night, everything was perfect and delicious. The standouts were the crispy pork, which had cracking crispy skin and perfectly cooked meat, and the duck red curry with a surprisingly generous amount of duck in a really outstanding sauce. Wonderful service, no complaints. And priced more reasonably than expected. There a reason this place has been around for so long.

We walked in for a little lunch date. Great foods, lovely services and amazing atmosphere. Looking forward to the revisit.

It was a nice cosy restaurant with warm ambience.most of the menu item was good, some was average, however quite a small quantity as plate is mostly filled with garnished veges and mushrooms etc.you can see from the last photo of the left overs.but the staff were amazingly nice.would recommend their home grown organic juices though

Very delicious food and very nice and cosy atmosphere. Though prices are a bit high in comparison to regular Thai restaurants

Went there Sunday night. Despite the late hours the staff were very kind and accomodating. Had spicy noodle & fried rice - fabulous!

Lovely restaurant, with attentive staff and great little quotes and sayings scattered around the restaurant. Food was flavoursome and plentiful. Highly recommend.

Incredible food, incredible atmosphere, and very attentive and welcoming staff! Stumbled upon this place by pure chance, and am extremely glad that we did! EXCELLENT vegan and vegetarian options!

The food is delicious and of high quality. The aesthetics of the restaurant is also amazing. And the staff are very kind and lovely.

I don't usually leave review but I feel like I have to for this restaurant cause the service I had received was so good. And I want everyone to know that. I would highly recommend this place.
