Blue Rose

I had the most wonderful time at Blue Rose. It was recommended to me as the place to go for New Zealand pies, and it did not disappoint. I received some of the most friendly and helpful service of my life. Also, the coffee, with the coconut milk and coconut sugar, was perfection. I had the hangi pie and chocolate cupcake. Both were exceptional.

Maybe the best place in Sandringham for pies, delicious food, coffees and THE BEST snickers shakes you'll find in Auckland.

Blue Rose does some amazing pies - boil up, hangi, smoked fish. They're pretty much perfect from the pastry to the flavour, to being generous in size and yum to eat.

We had breakfast there recently - had an Americano coffee and shared the Big Breakfast.

One of my highlights every time I come here is the snickers shakes. Honestly, I can't think of another shake anywhere in Auckland that I love as much as these ones.

Cannot fault the service & hot food here! Loved the whole idea of Poly/Māori fusion! Our table had the palusami pie & luau omelette. I tasted both & wish I hadn't already eaten at home haha! Yum! Had a berry/mango smoothie. Very nice! Dining area a tad tight, had to really squeeze to get out past a man at the table beside ours & I'm medium-sized? Lol. Tables against the wall looked fine though & everyone super happy to be there Was great & will highly recommend! You guys are awesome!

Always a great place to eat at and I love their Samoan Koko Cupcakes. Absolutely delicious menu. Will always come back

Definitely a 1 of a kind experience with Food and Service. Unique Polynesian & Maori influenced baked goods. If you need that quick Soul Food reminder in Central Auckland. This is it.

All awesome except the front of shop. Unless you are dining in it is quite cramped making ordering food quite uncomfortable

Food is yum.coffee is better than average and the Koko cupcake is my uber fav.

Really enjoy coming here. Food here always puts a smile to my face. Loved the hangi and palusami pies.whanau come here atheist once a week for their pie or slice fix:) never disappoints at all.

They are super busy little place, known for their delicious pies? Coffee not so great but that could have been because of the amount of orders, you can't beat the smoked fish pie so yummy. Will definitely come back to dine in and try some other items.

Love this place. Very time my family and friends comes from overseas. We take them to blue Rose. For bunch.and breakfast.thank you Robert and Len. And Staffs Fablous place to be.try hard not to buy sweet. But who cares love the doughnuts with the pineapple and cream and choc Afghans biscuits and Assorted pies.and koko.more family and friends to bring next time.

Sandringham Roads best kept secret. Love that it's open till 4pm in the weekend. Something for every appetite with its cool indoor-outdoor vibe. Totally recommend the food and the staff are amazing.

Came here thanks to a friend’s recommendation and got the pulasami pie which was incredible, totally different to bog standard mince and cheese, my son stole half of it instead of eating his ham and cheese toastie and insisted I give this place a 5 star review. The raw fish was nice too, and next time we’ll be back to try the smoked fish pie.

Am local, so always love going in, delicious food and great service. Even coffee is excellent as well. Their pies are to die for. Different flavors. My family from Wellington and Christchurch always want some blue rose when they come to Auckland.

Pies of many varieties including hangi pie, boilup pie, Pisupo pie plus the most delicious cakes! Koko Samoa chocolate cake is yummy!

Went here for lunch recently with colleagues. It was actually a colleague who recommended this place and I was keen to check it out as he raved about the pies. There's outdoor and indoor seating (we got a table outside). I was pleased with my choice of the palusami pie - a great twist on an island staple - it took awhile to come out as everyone else had their meals come out before my pie but it was worth the wait. I also ordered an almond slice to take away. A tad overpriced for the portion but it was tasty. Friendly staff and good selection of sweet treats in the cabinet. Location is not as close to town as I'd like it to be but this isn't going to stop me from going back to try the rest of the menu. It'll be my go-to place when I'm missing Pacific Island cuisine.
