We recently had a birthday party here and the service was 5 stars. Maya was the person taking care of us. She was efficient, organized, attentive & so lovely! We thank you for giving us an amazing atmosphere & incredible service by all of your staff. Will definitely be back. The food was fresh, tasty & exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend ️️️️️

Finally found a great lasagna! Absolutely delicious! Chefs pizza bread equally as fulfilling in flavour. So good to find a place that's not afraid to use some salt.

Lovely place with great service. The food was delicious creamy and perfectly seasoned the pasta dishes. We all enjoyed our food even pizza was great, we had lamb bbq and dessert was nice the lava cake not too sweet

It's an authentic Italian restaurant and the waiters are very hospitable. There are plenty of options for pasta, but I ordered the beef lasagna, where the rich texture of the cheese and the flavour of the tomatoes counterbalance the greasiness of the cheese and meat. The dried fruit in the rum ice cream seemed to have been soaked in rum beforehand and was delicious

Can do all pastas gluten free and have gluten free pizza bases. Great for coeliacs and those with a gluten intolerance. Makes all the difference these options are included so thank you!

Wow, such a beautiful little authentic restaurant on jervous rd, run by a husband and wife with a passion for what they do, front of house service is top notch and super accommodating and the food is fresh and delicious, thank you so much for accommodating all of us at short notice, when you sit down you see a flurry of regulars coming in all welcomed by the owners, it’s evident this quaint little restaurant with a beautiful view to the ocean is a well cherished local establishment

It turns out that this classy Husband & Wife owned and run Pizzeria in Herne Bay is not just a great place to eat or Take Away excellent Italian, its a popular gathering place for discerning folk who hold Ducatti Motorbikes in high regard.

I dined there for the first time last friday and I can only say the meal was perfect, I had the Eye Fillet, but required different sides, which was accomodated without any problems and the Merangue dessert was superb. I will go back, but not just to try their Italian cuisine, but to interact with the most fabulous Persian waitress, she oozes a wonderful personality and tableside manner. I am reminded of the words spoken by Mary Poppins " perfect in every way"

Bono Pizzeria is the A+ standard for dining in Auckland. Maya and her team are professional and exude utter brilliance on a plate. I could not more keenly recommend a family restaurant during these times. I feel welcomed and appreciated every time I walk in

A true taste of Italy. Maya is so lovely and chef Pedro cooks to perfection. The wine selection is also amazing for when you run out of your BYO (lunchtime) wine. Have been a local for 10+ years and quality is never compromised.

We have been going to Bono Pizzeria regularly for at least 8 years. The food is beyond divine and the owners (Maya and chef Pedro) are the most wonderful, gracious and kind people we know. They care for their customers as if they are family. This is the best pizza and pasta in Auckland. Their garlic bread is a must order to start, with a serving of shoe string fries that have the perfect crunch and flavour packed aioli. We absolutely ADORARE Bono Pizzeria xxxxx

Good pizzas, but the shrimp and avocado salad was terrible. At $22, you'd expect something decent, but no. A small plastic container containing a lump of shrimp, a few leaves of wilted lettuce, one piece of avo, a single slice of tomato and some watery tasteless dressing. It didn't taste fresh either! C'mon Bono don't rip off locals trying to support you!
