Bracu Restaurant reviews
67The restaurant has a nice setting surrounded by olive trees with friendly walking paths around the property. We went for the 5-course degustation menu at lunch time and surprisingly we also received a special 6th course (the Mackerel cones). All the dishes served were excellent and beautifully presented. They also got the timing perfect in between courses. We were very impressed by the top class service by Simon who moved to NZ from East London. He has been very friendly and made sure that we were looked after properly during our time there. Duty manager, Brad, also provided a friendly gesture by walking around to make sure everything was alright. We left the place with some Bracu Estate Olive Oil so that we can try out some of the new tastes we found. I'm sure we will enjoy them in the coming days. We definitely hope to come back again for more taste bud exploitation.
I absolutely love photographing weddings at Bracu Estate. It is a such a stunning wedding venue surrounded by the most amazing rolling hills and olive groves. There are so many diverse spots for photos including the most epic sunset spot! Best of all, the food is AMAZING! I know your guests will be absolutely raving about your wedding at Bracu.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere sitting at a covered verandah with clear plastic curtain. The curtain could have been cleaner for a better view outside.
The food is ok but not to the quality I would expect for the price and where the restaurant markets itself. Prices are at fine dining level but quality more like farm house or home cooked. Everything cooked well and was ok. Just not the flavors and refinement I'd expect.
Had kimchi bbq pork entree but over powered with chili and little other flavor. Then fillet steak was cooked well but accompanying veg was unexciting and didn't really compliment the steak. Nothing adventurous or innovative. Also ordered side vegetables which were expensive, small portions and just boiled, nothing special about it. You can cook better more refined meals at home with myfoodbag.
Service was good though.
Alcohol content was recorded incorrectly in the menu for a beer I had, 2.5% was actually 5.2% which is very poor hosting of a licensed premises. Mousse also spelt as mouse about the same refinement and attention to detail as in the meals.
Not really worth the trip out there.
Took my Mum to Bracu for Mothers Day lunch and we had a fantastic experience there.
Delicious food and fantastic service. Our waiter was very attentive, always checking in us and refilling our drinks.
We will definitely return!
My husband, 2 year & 6 week old daughters went to bracu estate with friends for a birthday dinner and had an outstanding experience here. We were seated in the covered outdoor area under warm heaters. The food was absolutely amazing and although one meal was a wee bit delayed they bought out a glass of bubbles on the house to apologise. We also received a beautiful wee appetiser with compliments from the chef to try as it was new to the menu which was absolutely divine. The staff were very kind and inviting. Cannot wait for another occasion to celebrate at bracu estate.
Well worth a visit, great location, amazing meals, staff very efficient and attentive without intruding.
Food: (10/10)
The food here was impeccable. We had the bread w/olive oil, venison tartare, duo pork, dayboat fish and steamed greens. All dishes were super delicious.
Service: (10/10)
The girl who served us it’s her first day but she’s so friendly and attentive. And the ambience was so good.
The only downside was there were too many flies which was a bit annoying. Other than that, it’s a perfect dining experience.
Came for lunch and had the starter, two course and sides set menu. The breads with olive oil were lovely to start the meal with. The Duo of Pork had great flavours and presentation. The strawberry and pistachio dessert with macaroon was the highlight for me though. Ample parking on site.
Dined at Bracu for the first time last night, the location, food, flavors and presentation were impeccable, very friendly staff. Will definitely be making a regular visit being so close to home.
This is such a great place to eat out. Fabulous atmosphere, wonderful food. Highly recommend.

Special.stunning wedding venue as well.
Celebrated our wedding at Bracu Estate and they have delivered on all fronts.
The food and service was simply on point and we couldn't have asked for a better venue.
Photo opportunities aplenty and we couldn't fault on the delivery.
Highly recommended if you are thinking of organizing a wedding!
Thank you Holly and Lisa for all the hard work!
We had the best day here for lunch and beretta! Everything was perfect thank you so much. Highly recommend for a fun day out.
10/10 for diguestation. 20/10 for Simon the waiter! The team was amazing! We will 100% be back
The degustation menu and wine pairing were spot on! Highly recommend. Had a lovely outside table with a view of the olive trees. The lemon enfused olive oil was amazing. Brought a bottle for home. We got a complimentary prosecco wine for our wedding anniversary, which was a lovely touch. This was my 3rd time visiting, and I will be back again and again.
Recent visit was interesting on the tail of a cyclone! They coped very well with multiple power cuts while we were there, but it added to the ambience
Felt a little let down by the dessert (and don't get wrong, normally the meals are spot on) but it didn't quite hit the mark this time round. But the rest of the meal was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
Olive oil review - Still 5 stars because we love your olive oil this is just a petty constructive criticism, the bottle cap almost always won’t go back on, and sometimes has to be cut off as the cap won’t crack open. This Doesn’t change the fact that it’s an awesome product and we will keep buying it - we just transfer to olive oil drizzler (it’s just a wee bit annoying) : D
Having been going to Bracu for a number of years and was there again this evening. Today’s main course was the worst I have ever had. In a party of 5,3 of us had pork loin and all of us were unhappy with the meat served - gristly and fatty. We did give feedback at the time but the staff didn’t seem too concerned. Usually excellent but not tonight!
Celebrated our wedding with both ceremony and reception held at Bracu - The Island marquee and The Pavilion, respectively. This was all coordinated via email as we live in Brisbane and Covid restrictions made it difficult to visit beforehand - however, we designed the cocktail style seating with my sub-par drawing but Holly and the Team did a fantastic job of putting it all together. The walk and fork food menu was stunning and served discreetly during formalities. Thank you Holly, Lisa and Bracu team!
Very good service. Would recommend for stag dos or something to do with a group.
Prue was Easy to deal with and very clear about things.
Guys at clay shooting were very professional and made things fun.
