Browns Bay Market reviews
38It's a bit small. If you live nearby, you can go shopping, but don't have high hopes of finding anything good.
It is a small market located next to New World Mart in Browns Bay.
If you come here thinking of going to a burrito market or a big market, you might be a little disappointed.
A very friendly flea market where you can buy antiques, vegetables, local food and some cheap second-hand items. Every Sunday morning, but please make sure it’s good weather before coming
Really enjoyed this market. Great stuff. Great selection of vintage tools and some great clothing.
I love this market. There is nothing much you can buy here. But seeing the local community raising funds for themselves is satisfying. I always roam around and buy some plants for my garden, then eat waffles at "sensational chicken" on the corner with the family and afterwards straight to the beach
I've been going to markets for years and every week there are different stalls. Some weeks I buy loads, other weeks I buy nothing. It's very unpredictable!
Love coming here! Great atmosphere and always find great things. Love looking around through all the stalls and getting great bargains
Enjoyed this one more than other flea markets as there was both food, beverage, fresh groceries, plants and pre loved (antique collectibles) items. Will revisit. You can spend hours on end and everytime you revisit a stall it has something else that did not catch your eye the last time.
A great little market with a community feel and huge amount of reasonably priced hand crafts, jewelry, stones /gems, bric-a-brac, clothes and some new gear.
Awesome spring rolls and hot chips with tonnes of bargains and treasures to be found and enjoyed by people of all ages.
An ample amount of free parking available, just ensure you bring cash and alot of smaller change rather then notes to help the vendors
Enjoyed walking around and meeting people I haven't seen in years. Got a good deal from a lovely Scot gentleman.
Browns Bay market is my go to place every Sunday it's got a fab vibe for buying and flipping preloved stuff.
It's got variety of used items that you never expected to find come see me at my pop up stall Jax Junx
Shrinking number of stalls which let's it down but still good to visit on a sunday morning
It's alway been a great market and continues to be, Chris does a good job and it's truely worth a visit
This is a great market with a lot of different types of products on sale. It's important to know that Coastguard North Shore manages this market and all the funds collected from the stallholders go to the unit, so volunteers can keep saving lives at sea.
Love this place, cruising around on a Sunday morning picking up fresh fruit and vege, clothing, fishing gear, tools, household gear and toys. Coffee
I purchased some CD's off a stand when I got home opened them up and nothing inside. Oldest trick in the book but I fell for it.
Great local market for second hand tools and preloved items.good music and great bromilliards and shells worth a look
I was expecting food stalls and decent items for sale. The market just looked like a bunch of 2nd hand unwanted random items for sale
A terrific market, run by the coast guard who do such a great job, I fully recommend this wonderful secondhand market.thanks guys.
