I went to this store on 30/12/23 to get a few things and charged it to my Farmlands account. I asked the staff member, MJ, why was I unable to see the pricing on the docket and was told that it was a computer error. She was unaware that I knew the option was available before printing the docket, which she didn't choose. She then did a return on the items and also did the transaction again. I queried this and she called someone about this as my name didn't appear on the docket. I waited patiently. She told me that she had to do another transaction and I pointed out to her that it had already been charged to my account. She stated raising her voice and I got angry and told her not to shout at me as I'm not deaf and won't tolerate being spoken to like that. She apologized and then said that she has to speak louder as she's wearing a mask. I kept telling her that I'm not deaf and that she didn't have to repeat anything to me throughout our conversation, which showed that I could hear her. She kept raising her voice and didn't want to admit that it was her fault in the first instance. I swore in conversation and not at her, and she told me to stop being abusive. I kept telling her that I'm not her kids and she needed to stop yelling at me. I de-escalated the situation by simply picking up my card and walking out as I was quite annoyed by this time. I went to Bunnings Glenfield and added had a totally different experience, really outstanding.
What poor customer service from Bunnings N/S.
I received my statement and noticed that I had been charged by Bunnings North Shore for something that I didn't purchase. I called the store on 13/01/2024 and nobody was able to help me at the time. I requested a call back.
I received a call from Talei and she was defending her colleague without even listening what I had to say, telling me that I was very abusive and that I would be trespassed. I told her that it didn't bother me at all. I even told her about the amazing customer service I received at the Glenfield store. She was adamant that I was wrong and ended up cutting the call without addressing the issue I called about. Is this how customers are treated?
I called back and asked what was she going to do about the refund. She told me to email her my statement and to take her email address down. I stated that I didn't have a pen or paper handy and for her to text it through to me. She rudely refused and was quite abrupt. I gave her my email address for her to send me a message so that I could send her my statement. I also stated that I have other transactions on the statement which are private.
I always shop there and most of the staff know me by name and are always very helpful.
Why does a customer have to go through this and still get threatened with a trespass notice?
Was I supposed to accept being spoken to like that, and also blaming the computer for her error?

Trade staff pushed shoved and strangled a customer 26th July 2023.

I go here primarily because I live close by but also because of the large range of items in this store from Building products to gardening. Plenty of
Parking and you can drive inside
For trade products. Good range of
Tools, cleaning items, nail and screws,
And a full paint department and timber
Yard.

Most staff are friendly and helpful inc
Dean and Jaslyn both who went over
And above my expectations in customer service.

A very unpleasant experience today. Confusing signs for parking.should have been an easy collect but had to re-park 3 times! Sale staff didn't help.

Very disappointed with shop policies in Level 3 lockdown - I know exactly the product I need and shop refused to sell after one hour explaining the product I need urgently and was willing to accept any way of payment and delivery yet they wouldnt even talk to me. I guess tradies get better treatment than general public - will try other shop with better service and avoid Bunnings in future. A bit more common sense from shop managers will help everyone.

Helpful staff, although you have to look for them as they are all busy but very happy to assist. Reasonable prices on certain items.

One stop for all your DIY goodies for home etc, friendly staff, great prices I spend alot at bunnings. Summers coming so get your next project going now

Not the best Bunnings of the lot. But saying that Bunnings is the 2nd best place in the world after the liquor store. And a big high five to who ever hired the champ walking round the store with a grin ear to ear! Employee of year right there!

All the products you need without any absolutely nothing zero zip zilch nothing non existant customer service. In fact you have better chance of getting pregnant by post than finding someone to help you pay their wages.

Absolutely excellent service today, a gentleman DANA on name tag, was walking about asking kindly if anyone needed a hand, he was welcoming, friendly and very helpful! Took me directly to the goods I needed and being that I'm on the clock, it made such a huge difference to have that help to find things. It leaves me just long enough accent to write this review, Great work Dana and team!

The woman who served me at the checkout was quite rude. She was just standing there having a good old chinwag with another staff member - I would understand if it was something important or job related but it wasn't. They were talking about restaurants! Further more she didn't even bother to greet me let alone acknowledge my existence. She just scanned my items then pressed some buttons to process my payment all while conversing with the other staff member. Really disrespectful if you ask me.

The prices aren't as cheap as I expected. The blt sandwich in the cafe was soggy and bland. The staff not all entirely helpful but some were lovely and smiling and nearly collided with one as she was walking along on her phone not looking where she was going. Another staff member in the cafe had her phone on loud and was watching videos during her break so kinda spoiled the peace and quiet during that time. I suggest headphones next time.
I prefer mitre10 for customer service personally and for cafe food and drink. Plant section better also in mitre 10.

Always enjoy to wonder around especially in the garden area. I gave a comment about no baby changing bed in the toilet and a Bunnings staff called me and explained what had happene to the changing bed. In addition Bunnings will install a baby changing be in women's toilet. Awesome experience with Bunnings and their friendly and helpful staffs

Wow, one of the most helpful stores I've ever been to. They went out of their way to help me resolve the problem. I think the team member name that was so helpful was Sami. May have spelt that wrong. But he deserves credit. I think he was middle eastern and possibly mid 50s. And an excellent areas member. Thanks

I find everything I want here, mostly.great prices sometimes things are inexplicably expensive, but best of all returns are hassle free. And this branch doesn't search your cavities at the door like the Glenfield one.

OMG had some of the best Customer service ever! In the Timber dept by Kade today. Knew exactly what was going to meet my needs and cut the wood so it would fit I'm my car. Great Work
