Bunnings Warehouse Silverdale

The worst Bunnings I have been to in both Nz and Au, all due to staff. Heath Franklin hit the nail on the head when it came to this store

Bought a whole bunch of potting mix and mulches. The amount of strange weeds that came up with strong root systems means each weeding I do I throw out a bag of Bunnings product. These products are not sterile - avoid

Great store lovely Cafe.
But the elderly man working in the drill bit area gave poor advice. So my son got the correct drill bits.

Went there yesterday omg it was jammed packed full of people. So walked out. Unknowledgeable staff members. Never going back.

Trailer rules regarding no overhang front or back are ridiculous staff are worried about using their discretion and have no actual knowledge of LTNZ rules re: trailer overhang. When it comes to this, like most big companies staff are scared theyll get sacked for using their own common sense [we used to have some in NZ]. Got told by the guy who checks you out with the timber and receipt before leaving the store that "this no overhang front or back is a LTNZ ruling for Bunnings" I researched this throughly and read the Land Transport Act and LTNZ rules regarding trailer overhang and what he said was complete rubbish. I used ITM Albany after this without a problem and will continue to for timber, as Bunnings wouldnt let me take the trailer with 400mm secured overhang at the FRONT.

Can always get what you need here, even if you can't find it! But the staff are great, very knowledgeable and seem to even know which aisle you should be looking in!

Very busy this afternoon. But was well organized in keeping people apart at the required distance. Took a little while in a queue at leaving to pay but was fairly quick. Plenty of staff around the shop to help if needed.

Housewares and hardware, service is good, range is good perfect for a home-owner to browse on a a weekend for all those things you didn't k ow you needed.

Return desk was very slow due to having to do multiple other jobs even though they were lined up 10 deep and only 1 person.

Paid for and placed an online order for an item that was in stock only to be notified 4 days later the item is not in stock? And then told my refund will take another 3-5 business days. Very inefficient compared to retailers I've used during lockdown. Unusual for Bunnings to be this slack. Guess I'll have to pay a bit more and go to Mitre 10.

Solid stock of most things. Friendly, helpful staff and plenty of parking. We left our kids favourite book behind one time and they put it aside until we came back the next week. Very kind.

Bunnings was hosting a COVID19 vac centre, thank you I'm now double tapped and immune, next strain please, lol

Placed an order online to click and collect.rang three days later to be told there was a four day waiting on there website which i still cannot find so if in a hurry i suggest mitre 10 order is ready next day for collection 21.10.2021

Needed an urgent product for a job in lockdown, rang them explained. Rude woman on the phone say wait your turn. Went to mitre 10 spent extra dollars but much better service and understanding. Useless

Had a Kaboodle kitchen design consultation this week with Amber Robert's & it far exceeded my expectations. Amber was so helpful & knowledgeable & spent ages ensuring I had everything they way I wanted it. Amber's customer service was outstanding, shes a credit to Bunnings Silverdale.

Had to get gloves etc for my job. Got questioned as to if we were essential. Staff pretty rude to be honest.

Whichever bunnings store you're in you always find something. The staff here are so helpful. The range of garden pots and plants is excellent. Well organised and knowledgeable staff
