Bunnings Warehouse Westgate

Great store but self checkouts are mostly closed outside of peak times, with only one person cashier open causing long lines.
Self checkout should always be open like supermarkets ;)

We often go here and ask 'daft' questions when we don't know what to ask for but the staff are always able to figure it out and help us. They also have a few things the other place don't have and at better prices.

Went to Bunnings Westgate on Monday to sort out a Kaboodle kitchen for our renovations and was absolutely impressed with the support I recieved from team member Krystal. She helped me without warning, she showed me my selections in store, made adjustments to complete my plan without being condecending and gave great advice without judgement on budget friendly options. Thank you Krystal for taking care of us.

This is one of the newer Bunnings in Auckland, you’ll find nearly everything in stock and product which are easy to find.

Bunnings is my favourite Nice clean store lots of products great parking underneath so no getting wet loading up the car with all your goodies you just purchased.

Great service, great range of products.
Has a great range of hardware items that are harder to find at other hardware stores.
Due to recent shortages timber is harder to get in bulk, but staff are happy to work with you to try and fill orders.

A bit of focus is required on customer support; I rarely receive a good response whenever i ask questions or wonder about something on my DIY project. Staff is either not aware or don't want to support you; perhaps my English is not that good.they seem to give an excellent response to a native speaker-

Always someone around to ask but some things are not called the same in Australia so z nails are not with the other nails and some washers were in the wrong tub too. Don't rely on the website info to tell you where something is too because it's wrong.

Big Bunnings outlet near Westgate. Lot of choices and friendly staff.

Decent tools department, went to buy drop saw and was helped by friendly team. Awesome details provided by Duncan

None of the staff is helpful, they will walk straight past you and not check if you okay. Understaffed. Spend most of your time looking for someone that can actually help you. No store knowledge or product knowledge.

Great variety of merchandise and very helpful staff members. They give you very practical solution, insight, and guideline.

Biggest Bunnings in NZ. Full of everything you can imagine plus more. Your not stupid, you know what they are.

Just bought a lawnmower on Sunday the young man looking after that department was very knowledgeable and helpful, great customer service skills when someone else, a little impatiently, tried to get his attention while he was still dealing with us! The lawnmower was $100 cheaper than at Mitre 10 too!

This store is well stocked although their garden department needs some attention, all the plants were dry and wilting, with barely any healthy ones that you'd want to buy, apart from that the store is good, the lady greeting at the door is very friendly

Shame that some of the younger staff don't have a great knowledge of the place and it's things
