Leaving a review after going to a different burger spot and realising just how good I had it at burger geek

Their food slaps every time. I’m gluten free and they have never gotten my order wrong. Their fries are nothing crazy but they hit the spot and you get a nice amount

Review for Birkenhead/Highbury branch as it's not showing as an outlet. WTH? 35 min wait with only 3 orders in front. Cooks had absolutely no clue what they were doing, they seemed to be cooking one order at a time. This resulted in cold soggy burgers and cold fries. Maybe don't open until you have cooks who can actually work a hot plate and fryer. 2 stars for jalapeno poppers which were fine. Otherwise a waste of $50 as burgers and fries went in the bin

Great burgers and sides. Very tasty and the buns are fresh and delicious. Jalapeno poppers are very good

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, and despite the burger not being my preferred style (as I typically prefer juicy meat over smashed patties), it was still delicious.

Lovely burger and exceptional fries, the sauce (I think it was mayo or something) was really nice with the fries. Burger was big and full of flavour, great service and food is served pretty quickly.

Wonderful delicious juicy burger. I so much enjoyed it. Customer service was superb. It was very busy & staff were on to it. I was happy to wait & be considerate & wait was worth it. Yummy delicious burger. Very polite & kind staff.

Very delicious burgers, chips, pretty much everything they make tastes amazing and the price is decent, one burger will be big enough to fill you up.

We moved into the area from where we were Burger Fuel regulars but we will never go back there now. Burger Geek's burgers are next level and honestly the best I have ever had.

Ok so back in 2020 this was voted the best burger joint in the world
Now in 2023 it's still in the top 3 which is super impressive, I just had to check it out. I walked half a hour through the hilly roads of Auckland New Zealand to get to this place. Knowing that I've done my cardio, I was really excited to try this burger and was hoping they would have vegi or halal options available and to my surprise they do have halal options available Alhumdulillah!
I ordered myself a Morty halal burger with fries and a drink, on there computer screen and you can see the wonderful stuff preparing our food and getting it ready. Yes It's reference to Rick and Morty there's a lot of cool anime references in BG. My meal was made quite quickly and it all looked great, taste test well what can I say this is the best burger I've ever had. I super recommend this establishment. Seriously if you are in Auckland NZ why haven't you tried Burger Geek!

As mentioned before I did contact BG before visiting to ask them if they serve halal burger, they responded fast and I set off to order the best burger I've ever had. We need a BG in London if we don't have one already.

The self order kiosk was very convenient and the customer service was lovely and quick. The burgers and chicken wings were delicious and worth their prices. However I can not say the same for their sides.

The fries were okay but I miss the thin shoe string fries they used to have. As for the other sides the quantity is very disappointing ($6.90 for the amount of onion rings in the picture). A bit overpriced for what you receive and nothing special.

Would go back, but probably just for the burgers and wings.

Yeah nah great place mate, jalapeño poppers are best value in the city and buffalo wings are better than Sals could ever dream of. Only thing to make it better would be if there was blue cheese sauce to go with the wings

Absolutely top burgers, bursting full of flavor, I got the Krabby and it did not disappoint, full on flavor explosion, Great menu too

Auckland has its fair share of solid choices when it comes to burgers but Burger Geek is the one I keep coming back to and I'd stake my name on it being the best in the city. Having eaten my way around the menu I've never been let down. The sides are amazing too. Best yet the prices are actually really reasonable given the size of the burgers.

Great smash patty burger. Good variety of styles and they all have something to bring to the party.

This was a treat, amazing burgers, awesome flavor out of the box experience, these guys are ruling the wholesome burger market.

Really disappointed. My partner and I are semi regular customers as we live on the same block. Tonight (Monday 14/3) I called to place an order and the young man that answered was so condescending when I asked for the hot wings option with out the hot sauce (bbq). We spent $55- we usually spend this much and the quality was terrible. The bacon and buns were really burned- refer to photo and the chicken was so dry. It definitely was not cooked fresh. It’s a shame as your usual staff none of whom were working tonight do such a great job. My partner said the shop was Smokey when he collected it, these two workers are letting you down. Likely will never order again if I get that clown on the phone again.
