Burnsco Mt Wellington

On my most recent visit Friday 22/09 looking to purchase/upgrade my camper fridge, I was helped by Ryan, whose service exceeded my expectations. He aided me with excellent electrical advice regards my current set up and how/where to improve its capacity so I could be confident the new fridge would meet my requirements. I can’t wait to get it wired and ready for use!

These guys, were great, helped us find what we were looking for, and had the extra bits and pieces that I needed.

A very rude old guy works here. I’m never shopping here again. The guy needs customer service training especially when rudely speaking to me in front of other customers.

I briefly pulled my mask down to answer a call. And I was ambushed by this wannabe COVID 19 policeman.

I’m triple vaxed and he’s scared I’m going to spread the plague around the shop by answering a phone call. Yet I can go to a restaurant and eat, drink and talk without a mask and without being rudely spoken too.

Here’s how you should’ve spoken to me: Excuse me sir! Hi! Do you mind taking that phone call outside because of our shop policies. We appreciate that. Thank you! Oh you shop here regularly…didn’t notice you behind the mask! Thank you for your loyalty but please take the phone call outside.

Me: Sure!

PS. If you’re worried you will catch COVID 19 and you’re in the age category that makes you more susceptible to catching it then don’t work in retail or any job that requires customers entering your shop

Terrible customer service!

Thank you Burnsco (not) for making me feel like a 2nd rate citizen and refusing me access to your store on 26 Dec. For simply wanting to purchase a decent mosquito repelling device to protect the family. I have reported this to the #humanrightscommissionnz.

Worst shop for fishing gear. Their stock system is absolutely rubbish, always says items are in stock then you get to store and they aren't in stock. Tried calling multiple times, nobody picks up the phone so you can't even ask them before turning up if they have what you want. Bait always looks old and mangled. Can't believe I went back again only to have the same bad experience. Never again.

Tim was so helpful. Being a female I need all the advice I can get with my camping wiring projects.

I had the worst service from the rudest old guy at this store today I have never come across anyone so rude in my entire life, I will never shop at this store again. I have been shopping at Burnsco for over 10 years.

Customer service from the senior sales person has been disappointing during covid alert level 3. If there are new rules or processes to follow, make sure your own team are aware of this and are communicating it to the customer consistently.

Customer service could certainly use some work.
If your tired or hung over that's not the customers problem.

Five stars is not enough, I bought a rod and reel from another store and I was never happy with the reel, took it back a couple of times and they said there was nothing they could do, I went to Burnsco Mt Wellington to replace the reel, took in the Rod and Reel so I could get a matching reel, they did not have a suitable reel on their shelf but one of their guys showed me how to pull apart and adjust the casting weights, I have just been to the Mokes for three days and the reel is now perfect. They did themselves out of a sale but have won a fan who will sing their praises.

Burnsco is one of my favourite shops. They have anything you need for fishing or boating. Great stores around the country.
