The Burnsco store always have someone on hand that can answer questions from sailing to fishing. Still helpful staff and a good range of marine chandlery equipment. Selection of ropes is good if not the cheapest at least very good quality

Very knowledgeable staff, great if you are looking for items for your boat, camper, RV, caravan, tiny house, trailer.

Good stock options. Not very friendly service but knowledgeable, if you can catch the staff's attention.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty reasonable prices on most things, particularly considering they're so central.

Usually sell great products and never had issue with them before. But they are mean and have pale, stale, male written all over them.
Wanted to pick up an item - the only one in stock was damaged. The manager wouldn’t shift in price nor throw in some salt ice - so that in the very least - there was some move to compensate for fact that the item was not in “as new” condition.
Sorry - but I don’t want to pay full price for something that is damaged. I pity the Muppet that does and keeps this kind of business engaged as it is. I also don’t care to give money to a company that is after the top buck for damaged goods. Weird philosophy. Plenty of other options though and spent my $500 elsewhere.
Will probably opt to look elsewhere first for other boat items needed and spend many more of my dollars elsewhere too.

I've been in a lot of Burnsco stores and this one ranks up there with the best of them. The sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The store is clean, neat and well stocked.

Was in store to stock up on a few heavy sinkers for trip on the Kaipara.no getting to the bottom without them with the strong currents.

Just a quick visit to renew my Coastguard membership with Burnsco and a quick look around the store. A good range, a bit on sale and my local chandlery store so always worth a look.

The team at Burnsco Westhaven were the best especially when I went in with a 100 meter anchor rope that was thought to be defective. The rope was completely in tangled and they willing with patience helped to untangle the entire 100meters with heaps of patience. This was on a Sunday the 5th May 2019. Thanks guys you are the best
