Caltex - Monument reviews
19Note that LPG bottle filling may not be available if service personnel is on lunch or other breaks. Note, this is not the first time I've encountered this issue on this site.
Good touch less car wash, also has other options. They do not sell Lotto anymore, good service can buy usual groceries.
After 10 years of being a regular and now occasionally since moving from the area. I find that the service is excellent. The staff still remember me.
Great place to get your LPG bottle to be filled at a good price 26.95, also get your lotto tickets and a good cup of coffee too.
Lotto Shop, you can choose between a Coffee or a Carwash when you've filled your Latte card, Cool. I see a money machine if you need One. And the variety of Fresh Chippies, American Hot Dogs. &Chicken Hot Rolls. I love the Hats &Caps
Usually this place is good but this morning when I tried to buy liquid hand soap and it wasn't scanning in the system, I checked the ticket three times to triple check that the price was $6.99. Finally the price showed up on the screen and the staff member said no it's scanning at $7.99 even though I just told him it's $6.99. I said take your ticket down then or change it to the right price. He just kept saying oh it's $7.99. Not even giving it to me for the ticket price. What bad service!
The car wash is beyond expensive!
I pay R85 for exactly the same service at Sasol in Centurion R55 and get a car freshner also. I had to pay R125 for a R85 service. Surely it does not have to be this expensive!?
Wil not be back again
Been going here for 20years so many staff have come and gone. Dad loves this place he says staff are friendly and speak in his language to greet him when he goes also they use to help dad with the gas bottles as he didn't have much strength at 72 and kidney failure. I have noticed few grumpy faces working there lately but overall good
My Favorite petrol station all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable our cars are logged in their database so they know it's us as soon as we pull in a Note of caution if you battery is having issues Be careful as they don't have any means of jump starting cars and other customers weren't able to Assist my jumper leads were at home so I couldn't Provide any sort of fix.
Horrible, horrible service. Used to go here weekly for petrol with both my cars. Goody had a special offer for 50% off a car wash. Paid for it then the guy decided the voucher wasn’t valid so I had to pay the remaining 50% for my car wash. I asked for a full refund of my car wash and the stuff I bought from the shop which he first tried to argue with me as well. I will never return to Caltex ever again!
Worst customer experience I've just had from a manager who didn't want to serve n a staff that was giggling with the manager on they own customer. Staff there said manager may have some personal issues going on at work. Wow! Never going back again. Unwelcoming n embarrassing situation I have been put in as far as a customer is concerned. I'm a senior retail manager myself n no customer should feel like this.
Moved to Caltex - Monument from BP, as BP no longer fill LPG gas bottles these people are friendly and polite always ready with a good morning or afternoon so I also get all; my petrol there now as well and the gas refill is much cheaper than a bottle swap.
Great to see they have finally removed exchange LPG bottle display off footpath (after i fell because it blocked it) otherwise employees always respectful.
Still one of my regular petrol station even thou I'm no longer live in Otahuhu. This is my back up petrol station when the Gull get really busy
On Saturday 24/2/18 at 12.43pm I bought a bottle of Powerade which I believe was $4.99 and after checking my statement a day later I found out I was charged $24.99. Tried ringing the store no answer so please check what you are paying. Tall Indian fella at the counter.
Fast and easy with good people who works there, but the best part about this gas station is, wait for it.drum roll... Its next to the Hangi shop! Like, Omg!
Convenient place with friendly and quick service. There's a post box to drop letters off by the bus stop here as well.
What can I say? It's a petrol station. It sells petrol. Plus all the other stuff that most modern petrol stations offer ie.toilets, air pump, food etc.
Best place to be in for Gas, as i have found this place always cheap in Gas in compare to all over Auckland.
