Car Inspection Services inspected a vehicle I was looking to purchase this week. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. They were able to carry out the inspection within 24 hours of my call. Their report and photos - received the very same afternoon - were very comprehensive and both Gary and Ian took considerable time to talk me through their findings afterwards. Their inspection brought up some matters with the vehicle that required fairly costly repairs. Luckily for me the vendors agreed to carry out those repairs at their cost before I took ownership. Not only would the repairs have cost me far more than the cost of the inspection, but I also got a great insight into the vehicle's condition and maintenance regime than I would otherwise have had. These guys were amazing to deal with. Very friendly, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or use them again myself. Thanks guys.simply awesome!

I live in Wellington and used CIS LTD to get an inspection on a car in Auckland.

Contacted them on Monday, booked a call out time on the spot, inspection and report was completed on Tuesday.

They are very busy, so it may take a couple of calls to get through to them, but I would highly recommend you persist for a quality and professional experience.

Gary is extremely good at what he does. I simply won't buy a vehicle without an inspection by him and have used his services on a number of occasions. Recently, he inspected a Fielder my daughter had fallen in love with. During the test drive, he noticed a slight suspension noise that sounded odd to him, so he went looking. Gary spotted that the anti corrosion finish on the chasis cross member under the radiator had a pattern that differed slightly from the standard Toyota factory one, so he kept looking. On closer inspection, he found that the tiny holes in the bottom of the cross member were just slightly elongated, indicating that it had suffered frontal damage and that the member had only been straightened rather than replaced and the work was covered up with the anti corrosion finish. His recommendation was to walk away for safety reasons, which she did. Quite simply, he's the guy you want to use.

Gary was awesome! Got my car 2 months ago after his check and so far everything he said turned out to be true. Very happy with the car and still amazed with his job. He was so nice and he thoroughly checked the car for hours and even fixed small bits right on the spot. Also he explained to us everything that we needed to know and take care of. Gary missed a number of faults off his inspection report which were later discovered by panel beaters and mechanics. He was in a rush both times when I called him to discuss the report he did on the car I wanted to purchase, and as such I didn’t get very helpful comments from him to explain the findings in the report.
