I had a great experience with Joe and his sister at central landscaping supplies with excellent customer service.
I’m NO tradie and me and my girlfriend needed to build a car port / boat pad. I had no idea what I was doing initially, but after lots a Google homework, and working out the cost of concrete vs the costs of doing it yourself, ie, hiring a digger and building a solid platform with Gap20, then Gap 7, then Jac Mats, covered in white stone chip, the job has come a treat and I’m chuffed!
Along the way I totally underestimated how much Gap 20 and white chips I needed but Joe and his sister were very flexible, fitted me in where they could and delivered within an hour of a phone call so I could finish the project!

Called 3 times for topsoil and grass seed. Very helpful and efficient staff especially Emma who was controlling entry due to Covid level 3. Highly recommend this.yard for all your gardening supplies.
These guys are always amazing to deal with and they run a great yard with great products. After about 8 years of dealing with them, there is nothing but positives in every interaction I've ever had.
Awesome selection of products for the backyard or project at home. They will happily deliver for a fair delivery fee, or you can hire one of their trailers (or BYO trailer of course). Friendly staff too!

Got a reply to a quote next morning. I dropped in to confirm a few details and got friendly service from Arthur. Joe confirmed they had the 2m3 of pebbles we wanted.
Paid the bill and got the product as promised, on time.

A wee caution to everyone about this franchise.
I recently bought a cube of what was advertised as "Waikato" topsoil from this crowd. Unfortunately it was their last cube so the next load I bought from Mt Wellington.
The caution is that Mt Wellington informed me that NO-ONE had Waikato topsoil due to the recent rains and they were very suspicious. I bought some "Hamilton" soil from Mt W and shrugged it off.
Unfortunately I have had very poor growth from this East Tamaki "Waikato" soil so I am now a little suspicious about what they sell.
Other than the soil, their products are well priced so hence the 3 stars still.
