Me and the fam went there on Monday and the service was amazing the atmosphere was lively and the Smash burger was extremely fresh and juicy and the Fish was succulent and the Chips were crunchy overall 5/5

Nice setting on a beautiful day but someone needs to teach them how to make a seafood chowder. Should bhave been sold as seafood soup. Sorry people.
Chowder needs to be made from stock base and then reduced to a nice thick tasty entree or main.

We visited this gastropub yesterday on a beautiful sunny day, and it was a delightful experience. The Cornish pastries we ordered were incredibly tasty, and the hot chocolate was rich and satisfying. The beers were also enjoyable. What stood out was the excellent service provided by the staff; they were incredibly helpful and attentive. This place has won our hearts, and it will definitely become our regular spot whenever we visit Waiheke Island.

Having dinner here with my friends. It seems the restaurant with the most range varieties of food compared to the next two restaurants besides.

Overall food ok, nothing taste special. The service is great, the main server is very friendly and attentive which is a plus point for us.

Surprisingly for us the best dish we ordered is the chicken wings.

Normally I get a coffee here and it's good. Have breakfast with my teenagers quite often too.

Last nights experience (Friday) was below par. Just wanted a beer and chips with my kids after work. We were asked to grab a seat, and the wait staff would take our orders. Fair enough, bar tender busy.

Let down by one particular waitress' service. Just not a happy camper. While 1 waitress was pleasant, the other in the blue shirt verged on downright rude, telling my daughter to sit and "chill" when she was getting a bottle of water and glasses. Service from her felt resentful. Waitress *really* needs to work on attitude.

Fantastic pub - I have one massive complaint, hence the four stars. We went on Wednesday (steak night) and the pub was UTTERLY understaffed. IT ABSOLUTELY did not affect our service - however, was totally painful to watch staff stressed out and working SO HARD in hospitality. Charlie Farleys- PLEASE get more staff on your busy nights - the ones you’ve got are going ABOVE AND BEYOND for you - don’t take advantage of them!

Kinda average. Staff we not helpful. Food was slow and limited. They said it was a 30min wait for coffees but then they came out in 5.

Chicken in burger was very yummy, but coleslaw was quite dry and over whelmed with jalepinos that had been minced and added with the coleslaw.

Service impeccable, food never fails to satisfy. The whole experience from entering, wining, dining and departing.

We booked a table for eight and they were ready when we arrived. We all ordered lunch and drinks. I ordered the salt baked kumara and it was incredible, as a vegetarian I get sick of salads and fries and so it’s refreshing to have a unique new meal option and it absolutely did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.thanks!

I love Charlie Farleys the friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. I wish to mention that I love the coffee I get from Duty manager Zoe who knows how to make a great coffee with a smile, thanks Zoe.

I went to Charlie Farleys for some lunch while on holiday. Hadn't heard the best reviews but everyone needs a chance
Got to say, the place lived up to its reputation. The waitress was rude and abrupt. The tables weren't clean from previous customers - it certainly wasnt busy.
The food was very average at best.
It was the only restaurant/pub that let me down. Shame, great location but just felt it was really run down, staff included.

Staff are amazing, manager stoped them serving kids menu to adults as a light snack while there drinking putting people off eating at all while drinking as the menu is so bad and expensive.
I think this is very disturbing and bad management.
Also I'm told staff are not allowed to accept tips.
Who every owns this establishment should be embarrassed.

Only ordered a couple of coffees, it was sun morning and soon busy, took about 40 minutes to get takeaway coffee. Food looked good.but i would go when its not so busy.

Great hearty burger just what a girl needs after touring Waiheke and great for soaking up the over indulging wine festival.
