The food was very nice and cocktails were great. Service was prompt but a little bit oblivious to us being ready to order or having finished our meal. Table wasn't cleared and would have had desert had we been offered. 25 minutes later we gave up and left. Probably would come back however.

We had our 3-year anniversary on Valentine's Day! Cheek&Chong made our day delicious and warm with exceptional and smiling service. We definitely will visit them more and recommend them to family and friends.

Last minute valentines day booking. Food was amazing so flavourful! Wait staff are polite and attentive and managed well with a very busy valentines night.

Wait staff is incredibly polite - owner or manager not so much - incredibly rude. Food is ok at best, western take on Asian cuisines - the right flavors are not there

It was a revelation! Amazing flavors. So good we went back a second time in two nights. From the crispy squid, to the wagyu beef cheeks, to the pork belly, it was an incredible experience for the taste buds. 10 stars!

All the food was AMAZING and came out reasonably quick! Service was awesome too. Overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend!

Terrific staff and some of the best Asian Fusion food we've had in NZ. Only downsides for us was it ran a little expensive and the lack of any softness in the interior design meant it was very noisy (a problem with too many Kiwi hostelries)

Had an absolute blast celebrating my birthday here. Staff were super friendly, attentive, and even went the extra mile to make it a special evening. And the food.where to begin? ! I've travelled extensively through SE Asia and their fusion take brought back memories but also bold new combinations. The beef cheek Massman was incredible. Wishing we could do our entire vacation in NZ again, starting with Cheek and Chong

We dined at Cheek and Chong this week and we go there quite often. Brandon was in charge that night and he’s just awesome. Such great service and chat, a really genuine guy. Bayley was our waitress and she is wise beyond her years. Such a lovely and engaging girl. We love the vibe at this place and it’s our favourite local. Great work team.

As locals we have always loved this place, for the food & service. On this occasion not so much, the Pork was so tough we couldn't eat it, the calamari near broke my teeth. Service was terrible, tables were dirty and dishes taken away before we had finished. I have sent them an email with my feedback, but sadly no response.

We have been here many times. Always amazing service (super fast) but the quality always remains 10/10.

Cheek and Chong restaurant is just a class act others should aspire to be like. The service, just second to none and always polite and happy to help at a moments notice
For the location on a main road, it was not problem with indoor and outdoor seating to suit.

The food looked, tasted and presented to a extremely high standard that very few restaurants achieve. It is all of the little details that make the whole experience more enjoyable. Like freshly squeezed orange juice.

Some might find the prices a little high. But you are paying for a whole experience that can not be faulted. I personally would rather spend the time traveling here and paying more, than visit a local restaurant

Great menu, loads of tasty looking dishes to choose from. The food & cocktail I had was delicious, although a bit on the pricey side. The service was top notch too, although it was very busy! Really enjoyed it though and would definitely go back again.

Table of 10, we chose the $65 pp set menu, the various menu items arrived promptly and at a steady pace. The flavors were outstanding including the very nice dessert. Overall a memorable experience. Special thanks to the Maitre' D who looked after us.

Absolutely loved the food! The short ribs were so tasty and so were the popcorn prawns. We had the duck fried rice and pad thai and both were delicious. The staff were great and friendly, the food arrived super quick and we alway had someone coming to our table asking if we needed something with a smile. We love dining there and strongly recommend it.

The decor is really nice with a light vibe, the staff and service is great, but the food hands down outshone everything. I don't think I would care about anything else with how good the food was.

I had popcorn prawns and the kingfish sashimi. Fresh, light, flavourful. The timing of the dishes was fast and everything was well cooked. Very happy and would go again.

Best to go during the day on a weekday so that you can enjoy your time a lot more as I have heard it is so popular and busy over fridays/weekends
