Deserts are so-so. Staffs are not that welcoming. Place us dusty and needs proper cleaning.

TOP STUDENT BUDGET FRIENDLY PLACE.this place has a massive menu and amazing deserts. And have a huge hot drink menu too. They never seem to miss. They are always quiet so it's nice to go to a quiet place for some hearty desserts. Last time I was here was a year ago but the prices were very affordable.

Update: the way they collect orders is still old school and the service is lowkey terrible. But the vibes and prices are alright and they open quite late.

Great food and service, atmosphere inside and out is great, would recommend the Denso Mexican flavour.

Chocolate Boutique has been running for over 25 years since 1996. As Chocolate Boutique is, it is a famous sweets store on Parnell Street that has been around for a long time and specializes in chocolate. The same restaurant, the same menu, and the face of good old Auckland. What's surprising is not just the length of the business, which has been around for over 25 years, but also its business hours. It is open every day from noon to evening (11: 00 to 21: 50) (only on Mondays from 18: 00).
We have a wide variety of dessert menus, from original chocolates that can only be obtained here, to parfaits, cakes, chocolate fondue, and more. Personally, I'm happy about the Vienna Coffee. There are only a few cafes in Auckland that serve Wiener coffee.

In addition to the tables facing the street at the front, there is also plenty of seating in the back. You can see the Sky Tower from the table in the back, so I've been using it for a long time because of the nice view.

The store system is
You take the menu yourself, go to the table, decide on your order, go to the cash register, give your order and table number, and pay. Please note that they will not come to take your order even if you wait at the table. Water is self-service.

Been here a few times now and just love it. Lovely service, amazing hot chocolates and chocolate selection. Recommend to all! Parking is tricky but worth it.

Attentive, knowledgeable, and patience staff members. Definitely the place to go to if you want to get awesome chocolate and desserts. Their chocolate dishes are definitely must try and will be a memorable experience too. The name of the dishes are also memorable.

Love this little dessert treasure in Parnell. Usually busy. As the name implies everything is chocolate. Such a good way to end a night. Staff are lovely and sweet too

Extremely average, especially for a specialised desert parlour. As pictured, I had the caramel cake with ice cream. Extremely sweet and did not taste home-made at all. A couple of other friends had the lava cake and were not impressed either. Also quite expensive. A nice selection of treats, though.

Great spot for chocolate indulgence any time of day from cakes to desserts to drinks etc. They also have lots of lovely chocolate gifts available to purchase. You can also sit out front of the cafe and enjoy a spot of people watching while enjoying your treats.

Had Cream brulee and Chocolate Mud Cake! It was heaven! Lovely place and delicious desserts with lots of variety

Always a nice treat to bring the family for some dessert. I love the Mexican Denso, today though we had the waffles, white choc mousse, berry smoothie and cherry soda. I've tried almost everything here, and it's all yum! Gets busy which we don't mind at all. Great service, buy a treat to take home. You will see countless goodies on the shelves!

Lovely place to have dessert. Staff are warm and welcoming, the Cafe is stylish and chic, and food and drink comes out quickly without much time to wait. Lots of options available for takeaway chocolates and candy. Highly recommended.

Really good place for chocoholic. They have various options from desert, coffee, or cafe food. All the foods come in a very cheap price!

Bought a box of 12 mixed chocolate, can't find a descent one. Taste like Cadbbury "chocolate". Lot of sugar, and probably poor quality cacao butter.

It would be a better experience if they had table service like a restaurant with mobile Eftpos (or just pay on your way out) then it wouldn't feel so sterile where you have to get up from your seat and go back to the counter and order like in a bar. Also I am not sure how long the desserts are sitting there for, they didn't taste very fresh. I remember it being much better a few years ago.
