Chuffed

I was ‘chuffed’ with the food here! So much so that I almost managed to finish the 6800kcals of pancakes and scrambled egg that I ordered in a eyes-stomach-size-mismatch frenzy.

Also the coffee is great and the service and ambience are exactly what you want from a brunch place.

Made a reservation. However, they didn't ask for our reservation, but we got seated really quickly anyway. It was quite busy, so I would recommend making a reservation if you do go. The food was really nice and big portions which were very filling. The restaurant has a nice breakfast vibe and helpful staff. Definitely recommend going for breakfast or brunch!

Is there a better breakfast in Aotearoa? This one would take a monumental effort to beat. Chuffed is hard to find easy to like.

Great Place to brunch. Sitting outside without the downsides of outside is the best. Great food and great service. We had eggs benedict with bacon and with salmon. Both to die for.

Everything looked excellent, the venue, food and coffee. But unfortunately the food and coffee just didn't quite taste as nice as it looked. Still not bad but not excellent.

Great little find, highly recommend. Mushrooms medley & Ruben toasted sandwich are fabulous. Staff are lovely & friendly, this place has a great little vibe. Will be back next time I'm in Auckland.

Coffee was a treat and food was delicious.

Very nice design and decor.the sign said “wait to be seated” but it took ages for us to be given a table.muffin was barely heated but still good.iced chocolate was very nice.everything was visually appealing so that counts for something.overall good.

Cool cafe with ample seating out the back. The food is delicious, loved the chicken sandwich, and the coffee is excellent. Great hidden gem.

Food tastes great, however, I ordered a Pork Shoulder Ragu and somehow got an allergy reaction from it. I am allergic to fish, so they must have cross-contaminated their dishes with the salmon when cooking. This is the second time that has happened as I had ordered a the Mushroom dish (which was a vegeterian dish) and got an allergy reaction the first time.

This is something they could improve on, but otherwise very nice place.

A cosy lunch spot that never disappoints. I ordered the smashed pumpkin on sourdough and it was excellent - my friends ordered the hash and looked just as delicious. Great coffee too!

Great coffee and food.

Had the hash - potatoes weren’t super crunchy (personal preference) and add-on of bacon was a bit expensive at $7 for only 2 rashes but everything tasted good together and was well-balanced.

Salmon crumpet was delicious, super fresh!

Would give the fries a skip, weren’t terrible but not particularly crunchy and could taste the oil they were fried in.

Crowded for Sunday breakfast, but service was super quick and food and coffee were great. Crumpets were lovely - great texture and not overly sweet

One of the best places for coffee in town. Great coffee and friendly staff. A neat place for business meetings or catchups.

The cutest little cafe! Tucked away on High Street, it can be difficult to spot. Once you enter the doors you immediately notice the cool atmosphere, warm temperature, plants everywhere… definitely an escape from the city just 10m outside. Very accommodating for vegan and vegetarians! Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. It can be difficult to get a good table during lunch time so I would recommend booking in advance!

Really interesting menu with great coffee to accompany.
Plenty of seating around the back so don’t be mistaken when you see a more traditional coffee nook when you arrive.

Came here for a rainy morning breakfast, little hard to find tucked away down a little hallway, a inconspicuous back patio with wonderful views great food and a seriously bold and delightful cup of coffee.
Absolutely electric waitress with a super peppy attitude.
This is the type of place that I could spend every weekend, go on a date with your significant other or just go to escape the hustle.

I absolutely love this place. Their little patio at the back it's perfect for anytime. And the coffee pretty good quality. I had the mushrooms, great dish if you're vegetarian.
