Great tasting food! Will most certainly be returning to try all the other tasty delights throughout the year!

This is an honest review as I am on the lookout for the best burritos in Auckland. This is the second burrito I've ever tried, and in comparison to Taco Bell, this burrito surpasses it. It is shorter than the Taco Bell version but much thicker and generously filled to the brim. You won't feel shortchanged on meat; you get 100%, and the process of watching them make it in front of you allows you to admire their craftsmanship, which is unlike Taco Bell. The filling in this burrito is evenly distributed; unlike Taco Bell, where the guacamole was all on one side, here they ensure it spreads from top to bottom. I will definitely be visiting again to try a burrito at non-chimichanga prices, which are priced at 18.50, making it a steal for the portion you receive.

The cafe is a cute little place, with lots of fun quotes and stickers on the wall! Nice vibe!

We got the Nachos and Tinga Quesadilla, the Nachos were ok. Quesadillas were really good

Nachos were quite the let down tbh, the toppings had hardly any tomatoes, onions and no cilantro at all! Didn't find any jalapeños in there either.just loads of cheese and cream!

Family fave! Been coming here for years and the food remains the same. Love the consistency - we know what we're getting every time we go and we've never been disappointed, there's never been a bad day. A credit to this lovely hard working couple!

Basically, we love most of the menu - and don't forget the spicy salsa (actually spicy) & guacamole

Can be a bit of a wait for the food but always worth it. Tortilla chips are made fresh when you order.

But the outdoor sitting area has sandflies and bugs, I still have bugs in my clothes from visiting recently.

This is everything you want in authentic Mexican food. It tastes amazing! This has got to be the best guacamole I’ve ever had anywhere. The cactus taco and nachos are a must.

Was willing to try since the reviews suggested that it is “authentic Mexican”, it was not. The food was so bland, no flavour, soggy chips and you have to pay extra for guacamole. They just squirted some chilli sauce to call it spicy. It was just so disappointing and unpleasant to finish, I threw it away. The food is over priced for what it is, which is nothing but the most basic “Mexican” food if you’d even call it that. Don’t even bother coming here if you are expecting decent food

Loved this place in the past. But got food from there today and the food is so tasteless and overly priced. Don’t know what happened, I legit used to crave it but after today I’m put off.

Nice food. It wasn't wow but it was nice. Helpful service. Looking forward to sample some other things on the menu in the future. 1 chicken taco, 2 chicken sopes and side of guacamole costed just under $25. Didn't understand why taco had double tortilla. Maybe burrito will be more exciting. Will go back and give it a try. Atmosphere 2 stars as it could do with a bit of a vibe pumped into it. Maybe some music even or something.

Was a little disappointed after ordering a fish taco and finding it filled with fish fingers.

The taste of the food surprised us because it reminded us of the true flavor of Mexican food made by hand with love and quality. We enjoyed an exquisite meal, a magnificent time with the family, without stress and with wonderful attention from the people who attended us. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a little slice of Mexico's "Cielito Lindo" just west of Auckland, NZ.

Extremely overrated, not authentic Mexican food, lacked flavour, no heat after requesting when ordered, very disappointed, food was packed nicely for takeaway but won't be coming back.

Great food and worth the mission. Very busy area with trucks so be mindful if you park on the road.

Fantastic fish tacos and salsa! Definitely as good as the fish tacos we recently had in a Mexican family-run cafe in Seattle. Don't be fooled by the location this place is worth the visit!

My partner and I went to this restaurant and we decided to order the nachos and the beef cheek tacos and omg for the first time in awhile I demolished the food as this stuff had a kick to it and the nachos were ACTUALLY loaded and had a generous amount of cheese and guacamole with crispy chips that didn't turn into a soggy mess. The meat in both the nachos and the tacos was succulent and perfectly seasoned. We even paired it with spicy salsa that was actually spicy. Having eaten tacos in Mexico, this has been the closest I have been to getting that same eating experience. Especially with cactus and horchata on the menu. Went for the taco deal and the lamb one was well spiced along with the cactus tacos, all washed down with a horchata. So much more to try and I will be back.

This was on my bucket list for a while and it lived up to the hype. Delicious tacos, similar in flavour but all were tasty. Good spice on the hot salsa. I’ll be back for more.
